Biography[]
Shegursky was a knight, later a general and seneshal, and finally became a count with his own castle and army. In the autumn of 634 a. M. v., the kingdom of Mirralia launched an invasion against the neighboring kingdom of Lerane, lead by Baron Maraksky and captured the castle of Maara and several smaller territories. The king of Leranse, Derrick Pfeil, asked the count to march through his lands, and he granted it, but Shegursky backstabbed him badly, as his cavarly attacked the king's army on the march. Derrick decided that he would not forget this and instead of a free passage, he would give a free coffin to the dishonest traitor. After the king's friend Father Dexter liberated the castle of Maar with a small army of the Inquisition, they joined to Derrick’s arnny and together they set out to defeat the three leaders of the intruders, including the count. First they attacked the leader of the robbers, Duke Wood, who was not too difficult an opponent, and moreover, he was killed by his own men, as he wanted to leave them behind and escape in the moment of defeat. They then marched to the castle of Shegursky, New Shegur, which they besieged. The count fought to the end, but he didn't have a very strong army either, the defense collapsed and he died, so the king gave him his punishment for his perfidy betrayal. After his death, Baron Maraksy was also defeated, thus the invasion failed.
