The Covenant of the Sword is a villain group in the Savage Dragon comics led  and Founded by Damien Darklord

History

The Covenant of the Sword is an organization shrouded in mystery but whose sole purpose is to secretly take over the world. Members dress in medieval garb reminiscent of the Knight Templar and employ an army of robotic and cybernetic soldiers. They went to kidnap Dragon and raputre's Unborn baby Malcam at the time. Later on at some point The group was founded by Damien Darklord a time travel from the future and grandson of Superpatriot who wanted to save the world. The group later replaces Jennifer Dragon with an imposter until she was killed by the second Overlord.Damien had kidnappes every super offspring the the purpose of having his own army after the negabomb killed the rest of the superhumans but that plan was foiled by Dragon. Later on Universo arrives the group finally meets it's end along with their leader.
