The CowBots, also known as DeputyBots, are minor antagonists in the LEGO Nexo Knights TV series. They are a group of three Squirebot cowboys who serve as the police force of Nothing Hill and answer to Jorah Tightwad.
They were voiced by Brian Drummond and Michael Donovan.
Biography[]
After an amnesiac Clay Moorington wound up on the western borders of Knighton and entered the town of Nothing Hill, CowBots noticed him and tried to challenge him to a digi-duel with their blasters, as they believed the town wasn't big enough for all of them. However, their blasters got stuck, and Clay beat them effortlessly with his sword. This drew Jorah Tightwad's attention, who made Clay believe he was his master, and also revealed that CowBots worked for him.
CowBots later observed Clay forcing people of Nothing Hill out of their homes so that Tightwad could mine the gold under the town, and the stone knight fighting his old friends Lance and Macy, whom he no longer recognized. After Clay got his memories back, he one again beat CowBots with his sword, and later forced them and Tightwad to leave Nothing Hill and let the townsfolk have the gold.
Appearance[]
All three CowBots look completely identical, with grey metal heads and hands, black top hats with a yellow star on them, black shoulders and black jackets painted on their torsos, as well as red neckerchiefs.
Personality[]
The CowBots are agressive towards any intruders, trying to force them into a duel with the intent of either killing or banishing them from town, and use cowboy slang in their speech. They are presumed to be completely loyal to Jorah Tightwad.
