The Coyotes are a hostile species in Paradise P.D., only appearing in the episode "What Happens in Twatemala". They are a pack of coyotes that kindapp people and take their places.
Biography[]
In "What Happens in Twatemala", Kurt Connors reported on the news that Paradise was under attack by a pack of wild coyotes, who were taking people's places. Brian interviewed Earl about this, and Earl said that his wife was attacked by the coyotes, who killed her, ate her, and then took her place. He didn't mind, however, because he hated his wife and liked having sex with the coyotes more, even showing a video of him having sex with one. Brian transferred the news back to Kurt and by the time it went back to him, Kurt was gone, and replaced by a coyote impersonating him and claiming that this whole coyote scare was just fake news.
Karen Crawford went down to Twatemala to see Robby and Delbert to talk to them about building a casino on their land. In the middle of their conversation, they were all quickly replaced by coyotes offscreen.
In the intro for the episode, all of the members of Paradise P.D. had been replaced by coyotes.
Way later on into the episode, Randall Crawford and Gerald Fitzgerald saw a coyote dressed as Fitz, playing the piccolo in his dressing room. Coyote Fitz broke the fourth wall to deliver a very important PSA to the audience, saying that the epidemic of coyotes dressing as humans and taking over society was no joke and that they were coming for the viewers.
At the end of the episode, this gag was revisited once again, when Dr. Funtlichter worked with a coyote nurse at the Paradise Hospital.
