The Coyotes are the main antagonistic group of the Vigilante 8 videogame series. They are an auto gang that works for OMAR.
Biography[]
The Coyotes were formed by an Australian-born terrorist named Sid Burn sometime around 1975 and were hired by OMAR to destroy numerous rival oil companies in the southwestern United States.
However, the Coyotes would come face-to-face with another auto group called the Vigilantes, led by Convoy.
At one point, a group of Coyotes consisting of Sid, Loki, Beezwax, and Houston 3 raid a secret military base called Site 4 and steal their equipment. At that same time, Convoy and his team of Vigilantes arrive to fight them. However, Houston fires a rocket at Convoy, wrecking his truck.
Eventually, after numerous battles across the southwest, the Coyotes were defeated and disbanded following the disappearance of Sid.
Two years later, the Coyotes were re-established under the leadership of Lord Clyde to wreak havoc across the entire United States. But once again, the Coyotes were defeated and Lord Clyde is betrayed and killed by Obake.
