The Crazy Bunch is the main antagonistic faction of the Wild West chapter of Live A Live. It's a gang of bandits and outlaws formed by O. Dio that constantly terrorizes the town of Success, with its citizens asking the Sundown Kid and Mad Dog to get rid of them all once they prove themselves to be capable of fighting back against them.
Biography[]
The Crazy Bunch was founded by O. Dio, the only survivor of Custer's 7th, driven mad by slaughter and turning to a life of crime as a violent outlaw. Together, they've been raiding many towns all over the Wild West, with the town of Success being their favorite target due to how defenseless it is.
This changed, however, with the arrival of the Sundown Kid and Mad Dog. The Sundown Kid, having witnessed the scene of Pike, a lone member of the Crazy Bunch, antagonizing everyone in the city, effortlessly defeated the outlaw and sent him running. Afterwards, when Mad Dog challenged Sundown to a showdown, they both interrupted their duel to gun down two Crazy Bunch spies that were hiding behind the boxes and haystacks. Afterwards, the citizens, aware that the rest of the Crazy Bunch will arrive to decimate the city, pleaded the Sundown Kid and Mad Dog to help them in dealing with the gang, and the two rivals agreed to put aside their differences to aid the townsfolk in fighting back.
For the entire night, the Sundown Kid and Mad Dog, with the help of the townsfolk, set an ambush on the Crazy Bunch. By the time the sun rose, the Crazy Bunch had arrived, heralding their arrival with gunning down Watt's dad. Afterwards, the gang of outlaws broke into the town, and, depending on how many traps were set, many of them would be killed even before reaching the saloon, ranging from being blown up by dynamite and molotov cocktails to being dropped off their horses by a rope, carrots and distracting posters.
Eventually, O. Dio and surviving Crazy Bunch members (if any) would arrive into the town, standing in front of the saloon, demanding that people inside present themselves, lest their saloon be destroyed. The Sundown Kid and Mad Dog come outside and confront O. Dio and any surviving members present (if there were any), fighting and defeating the group. With the Crazy Bunch members dead and O. Dio defeated, their reign of terror came to an end, and the citizens of Success could live in peace, knowing that they won't be terrorized by outlaws anymore.

- The Crazy Bunch's name is presumed to be a reference to Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch, known to be the most successful train-robbing gang of the Wild West.
- One of the gang's members was named the Sundance Kid, whose name presumably inspired the name of the Sundown Kid, the main protagonist of the Wild West chapter of the game.
