Creator Devius is the main antagonist of Ressha Sentai ToQger vs. Kyoryuger: The Movie and the overarching antagonist of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. He is a mysterious and powerful space entity and the creator and supreme de-facto ruler of Deboth. His primary weapon is the Magicana Wand.
He was played by Masaki Terasoma.
History[]
Millions of years ago, Devius created Deboth for the purpose of gathering knowledge on the different species that inhabit the universe.
Following Deboth's demise, Devius takes control of the army he created and approaches Earth. He uses his main body to take over a Galaxy Line Station, prompting Lady to call for the ToQger's help. Though the station is later crashed, his physical form is materialized in a sealed state. He sent his subordinate Salamaz to ally with the Shadow Line to defeat the Kyoryugers and ToQgers, however this was just a ruse to steal their darkness.
Empowered by the Shadow Line's darkness, Devius summons an army of past Shadow Kaijin and Kuliners to fight the Kyoryugers and ToQgers as they approach the terminal. However, Daigo and Right manage to slip past and go to confront Devius.
Upon arriving at Devius's location they discovered that the Creator is close to full power. Though Devius overpowered them at first, the two Reds were able to overcome him by working together, defeating him with a Brave-imbued Daikaiten Cannon's shoot. Down but not out, Devius enlarges himself to fight the two teams, but was finished off by the combined attacks of the ToQgers, Kyoryugers and the Shadow Line.
Personality[]
Creator Devius was an absolute, ruthless, misanthropic, egotistical and treacherous psychopath whose only interest was to destroy Earth and create a new planet in its place. He was also an utterly heinous and remorseless tyrant, who considered himself to be the ultimate being in the universe. Devius is an extremely narcissistic and egotistical and viewed himself as the supreme, perfect and flawless creature. He is also supremely misanthropic and contemptuous towards humanity, viewing humankind as the inferior species and treated them like insects. Devius is also extremely delusional and he counted every evil action he committed as good. He saw nothing evil in what he did and considered humanity a worthless species who had nothing to fight for and he considered that wiping out the entire human race and destroying the entire Earth was a righteous act and noble act. Despite his evil, arrogant and barbaric nature, Devius was also extremely intelligent, calculating and manipulative and was an expert in planning and manipulating his enemies for achieving his goals. He was a brilliant tactician and was a powerful and dangerous enemy to the ToQgers and Kyoryogers, as well as one of their most powerful and dangerous enemies. Overall, Devius was nothing but a ruthless, misanthropic and narcissistic tyrant, who obsessed with power and the universal domination and consumed by his hunger and lust for power and hatred towards humankind. Ultimately, his overconfidence and willingness to betray potential allies was his undoing as the Shadow Line played a major role in his defeat.
