Toñita annuls Miquiztli's spell by taking the medallion from La Nahuala, postponing the ritual until the next age of new fire.
Somehow Santos had kept the medallion after being deceived by La Nahuala into believing that it is his mother, receiving the indication to deliver the medallion to the indicated child and take him to the Old Manor to sacrifice him with the power of Miquiztli.
