The Creatures are the overarching antagonists of the Gameboy Advance version of the 2006 video game, Rayman Raving Rabbids.

They are a race of unidentified animals who are responsible for the Rabbids descent into their insane nature for conquest. As a result of their abusive behavior, the Rabbids, under the leadership of the Rabbid's Ship, prepare their goal for conquest by conquering the Glade of Dreams to enforce it under Rabbid order.

Biography

Past

Not much is known about the creatures except they are one of the residents who resided on their homeworld, the Glade of Dreams. When they met the Rabbids who were originally a peaceful race, they come to their intention measures to abuse them. In groups, some will tend to take advantage of their dimwitted nature to upset them while others will tend on cruel methods to getting some of them killed such as tying them up to fireworks to have them blown up. Because of their aggressive nature, the Rabbids could not withstand their behavior and are forced to retreat underground where they soon begin to plot their revenge.

Because of the creatures that had abuse the Rabbids in the past, the Rabbids have invaded and conquered the Glade of Dreams by both capturing Rayman and his friends and destroying the Heart if the World into many lums that scatter all over the Glade into the five worlds that the Giant Rabbids have assumed control of. After Rayman escapes the Dark World to the village with Ly, she explained the story about the Rabbids from how they use to be peaceful until the creatures abusing them and how their actions had resulted in the invasion to happen. With many of Rayman's friends that remained captured and placed in cages in each world, this would suggest that the creatures or some of them may have ended up captured as well as revenge for their abuse.

After the Glade of Dreams is liberated from the Rabbids' control, it is unclear if any member of the creatures either get punished for their actions or express their regret for their actions. If not, it would likely be implied that they have gotten away with their actions.

Trivia

• While they are simply called creatures in the game, it is unspecified as it remains unclear which species they belong to or if there is more than one creature.
• Given the fact that they were based on the creatures from the Rayman Raving Rabbids prototype, this could be implied that they truly are the ones responsible for the Rabbids' turn to villainy in the Raving Rabbids trilogy, the Rabbid spinoffs and the Mario + Rabbids series, though it is unconfirmed.
