Credenzo Curtis and Stanley Johnson are two minor characters in the fourth season of the HBO Television Series The Sopranos.
They are two African-American heroin dealers who are hired by Italian crime bosses Tony Soprano and Johnny Sacrimoni to murder Carmine Lupertazzi so that Johnny can take over the Lupertazzi Crime Family.
Credenzo was portrayed by Curtiss Crook, while Stanley was portrayed by Universal.
Biography[]
Curtis and Johnson are two fellow heroin dealers residing in Irvington, New Jersey who work as business partners, and are also somewhat well-known in the criminal underworld. During Christopher Moltisanti's drug addiction, he had previously bought heroin from the two and was well-acquainted with them. During the season finale of Season 4, Chris orders the pair to assassinate Carmine Lupertazzi, the boss of the Lupertazzi Family on orders from Tony Soprano, the boss of the DiMeo Family. Tony soon calls off the assassination due to his strained relationship with Johnny Sack and due to Curtis and Johnson knowing too much, he has Benny Fazio and Peter LaRosa murder them.
Trivia[]
- Curtis and Johnson are very similar to John Clayborn and Rasheen Ray, the two hitmen from the first season, as they are all African-American associates of the DiMeo Family, they act as assassins for a mob boss but fail in killing him (Carmine Lupertazzi and Tony Soprano) and were all hired by a stubborn, short-tempered and high-ranking mobster (Johnny Sack and Uncle Junior). The only difference is that Rasheen Ray is the only survivor out of the four.
