Crighton Dallas Wilton is a minor antagonist in AMCs The Walking Dead, serving as the overarching antagonist of the episode "He’s Not Here". He was a psychopathic criminal that murdered Eastman’s family all to spite him, and drove Eastmen to his pacifism lifestyle.
Personality[]
While unseen, we are given a clear look into Crighton Wilton’s personality. He is told by Eastmen to be an purely evil psychopath who hidden his true nature under a charismatic and friendly appearance, befriending the guards and other prisoners. He is also shown to be perceptive and patient, taking 10 years to build up his appearance to get out of prison through parol. When Eastman saw through and denied him, Crighton drops his mask in an attempt to kill him.
After successfully breaking himself out of prisons he murders Eastmen’s family and turns himself into prison, only wanting to get out of prison to murder Eastman’s family so he could destroy him, showing a completely evil man with no qualms whatsoever.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Crighton’s life, except he was sent to prison for numerous “unspeakable crimes” in which he slowly gained a good reputation, being a moral inmate and befriending a lot of the prison guards and Commanding Officers. After about 10 years of building up his appearance, he is assigned to Eastmen for his parole and after a psychological evaluation, Eastmen sees his true appearance and denies Crighton.
Crighton Dallas Wilton gets enraged and attacks Eastmen, ready to kill him, but Eastmen defends himself with his akido training and Crighton is hauled back to his cell. A while later, Crighton escaped prison and went to Eastman’s home, and proceeded to murder Eastmen’s wife, daughter, and son. He proceeded to walk the block and turned himself in, finishing what he wanted to do. After the outbreak, Eastmen kidnapped Crighton and imprisoned him in a cell, wanting him to suffer, leading to Crighton starving to death for 41 days
