Criminal Syndicate Bioron is an underground crime organization seeking to conquer Japan through bioterrorism and the main antagonists of Kidou Keiji Jiban.

They use biochemistry to create the monstrous Bionoids and other biological weapons such as viruses. Bioron are also the ones responsible for fatally injuring detective Naoto Tamura, leading Doctor Igarashi to convert him into Jiban to save his life.

History[]

The Bioron was established by Doctor Giba, who sought to conquer Japan and eventually the world. Using his expertise in biochemistry and other fields, Giba genetically engineered an army of monsters to serve him in his goals. To build up his organization, Giba sent his Masques to abduct humans to serve as test subjects for his biochemical experiments.

For their first plan, the Bioron released a biological agent capable of disrupting electrical machinery, causing chaos all throughout Tokyo. They also began abducting children in order to lure out Jiban so they could destroy him. However, Jiban saved their child hostages and disrupted their scheme by destroying the source of the virus Chamelenoid. In response to Jiban's interference with their plans, Giba hatched a scheme to draw Jiban out by having Catnoid go undercover at the Metropolitan Police Department and plant a bomb. When Jiban still failed to show, Giba launched a missile at the MPD headquarters. The bomb was defused by detective Youko Katagiri while the missile was intercepted by Jiban.

The Bioron ranks would later gain a new member when Giba created Mad Garbo as a counter to Jiban. Not too long after, the extraterrestrial entity Queen Cosmos came to Earth seeking to turn it into an "All-Woman Empire" ruled by herself. Queen Cosmos and Bioron initially clashed, but eventually formed a tepid alliance to destroy their common enemy in Jiban. Giba used a piece of Queen Cosmos to upgrade Mad Garbo and Rhinonoid, and sent them both out to assist Queen Cosmos in battling Jiban. Overwhelmed by three powerful opponents at once, Jiban soon became too damaged to carry on and was felled. With Jiban destroyed, Bioron went forward with the all-out attack they had been planning for some time. Giba contacted the various Bioron cells throughout Japan and instructed them to begin their operations. Japan was soon enveloped in chaos as Bioron's Bionoids attacked and leveled entire city blocks, all while people were attacked by bees genetically engineered by Giba whose sting carried a virus that caused people to go berserk and destroy everything in sight. However, thanks to the blueprints an amnesiac Mayumi provided, Jiban was rebuilt as Perfect Jiban and was able to destroy Rhinonoid, forcing Giba to call off their attack for the time being.

Bioron missile Ep2

Bioron has missile platforms in several different secret locations throughout Japan, including at their main headquarters. The missiles on these platforms can be armed and launched remotely by Doctor Giba from the command center in his headquarters, which lets him identify a target for a missile to strike and mark where it will go. Giba can also send a command for the missiles to launch from his airship. The missiles are primarily used by Bioron to commit acts of terrorism or to distract Jiban from one of their other operations. It is unknown exactly how powerful Bioron's missiles are, but they seem to be capable of doing significant damage.
