The Critters are a species featured in the LEGO Nexo Knights series, appearing in the 2018 comics. They are robotic spiders used by Monstrox to spread his digital infection across Knighton.
History[]
Critters appear to have been created by Monstrox himself when he became a digital virus. After revealing his return to the kingdom, the necromancer spawned a number of them in Auremville and had them infect a number of Squirebots, turning them into CyberByters. Critters would be used by Monstrox and InfectoByters to spread infection across Knighton multiple times since that. The critters appear to have perished alongside their master in the outcome of the final battle.
Physiology[]
Critters are robotic spiders that arrive into the physical world via Monstrox sending them from Knighton's computer system. They are able to spread the Monstrox virus through their bites, which they utilize, for example, to brainwash Squirebots into villainy. They have eight legs, and their bodies consist of grey (legs, lower body) and transparent green (eyes, "venom sac") parts.
