Cropsey is the second-in-command of The Rogues and the secondary antagonist of the 1979 cult classic film The Warriors.
He was portrayed by Joel Weiss, who has also portrayed by Cal Rooney in Dexter.
History[]
Cropsey was one of the Rogues who attended the meeting between the gangs hosted by Cyrus to discuss forming a large unified gang to take over New York for themselves. After Luther shot and killed Cyrus and claimed The Warriors were responsible, Cropsey and the other Rogues backed Luther up in his claims, saying they saw the Warriors shoot Cyrus too. Before the Warriors' leader Cleon could offer a defense, the Rogues and the other gangs descended upon him and tackled him to death.
Cropsey and the other Rogues are later seen buying candy at a candy store. After Luther gets off the phone with a mysterious benefactor, Cropsey discusses with him Cyrus' death and expresses his worry that the Warriors will reveal who really shot him when caught. However, Luther assures him that with both the Rogues and the other gangs searching for the Warriors, they'll be dealt with before they can spill anything. As Cropsey continues to voice his concerns, Luther tosses him back.
Cropsey later accompanies Luther and the other Rogues when they go to face the Warriors on their home turf in Coney Island. As the two gangs face off, Masai and the Gramercy Riffs appear, having learned the truth about who really shot Cyrus, and descend on Cropsey and the other members of the Rogues, presumably killing them.
