Julius Caesar, better known as Cruelius Sneezer, is a minor antagonist in the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as the main antagonist of "The Crazy Caustic Spray of the Contagious Cruelius Sneezer".
Julius Caesar is a Roman Emperor who tried to kill George and Harold for vandalizing his statue and Mr. Krupp for trying to take over his place as emperor.
He was voiced by Toby Huss.
Biography[]
After George and Harold trick Melvin into build a time machine for their whole class for a field trip to Rome in a day, they vandalize a statue of Julius Caesar, turning the plaque underneath it from "Kneel Before Julius Caesar" to "Fire Emperor Jerk Nose", attracting the attention of two of Julius's guards. After all of the kids and Mr. Krupp get thrown in jail, Mr. Krupp earns Julius' ire by stealing his crown.
George, Harold and Mr. Krupp are then forced into becoming his new gladiators as punishment for their crimes against the emperor, with their opponent being a dangerous gladiator named Underfeaticus, leaving George and Harold turn Mr. Krupp into Captain Underpants to defeat him. After Captain Underpants wins the battle through sheer incompetence and dumb luck, Julius congratulates the trio, allowing them into his Emperor's Box, which has everything (except dolphins).
While in there, George and Harold try to get Julius's talisman so Melvin can infuse the sun rays into the isometric photonomoic beam to power his time machine to get home. Unfortunately, one of Julius's guards hand him the comic George and Harold made earlier and he decides to read it. After finishing it, Julius realized that the comic was insulting him, causing him to attempt to beat them up, but he trips into the hot tub he was relaxing in with a bunch of magic olive oils, turning him into Cruelius Sneezer.
He blow George, Harold and Captain Underpants and his talisman out the window, and Snezzer and his guards chase the kids and Captain Underpants, they throw a bunch of roses at him to make him sneeze so they can stop him as the kids and Captain Underpants headed back to the present.
Appearance[]
As Cruelius Sneezer, he is all nose. As Julius Caesar, he wears a red cape, golden armor, and a green leafhat.
Personality[]
As Julius Ceaser, he is a more of a neutral character, originally a bloodthirsty person angry at George and Harold for vandalizing his statue, yet when they defeated Underfeaticus, he had a soft touch for them and even allowed them to lounge in his hot tub.
However, as Cruelius Sneezer, he becomes more hegemonic than before, wanting to kill George, Harold, and Captain Underpants just for making fun of him.
