Cryo is a cold virus and the main antagonist of the Ozzy & Drix episode, "A Cold Day in Hector".

She is voiced by Susan Silo.

Biography

When Hector snowboarded in a off limits ski area and ripped his snowsuit pants, Cryo appeared. She already froze HPD (excluding Maria) and gave Hector cold feet. Ozzy and Drix showed up and tried to fight her, but she escaped and proceeded to make a full body freeze.

Maria tracked Cryo to the lungs and tried to fight her off, but ended up getting frozen. Cryo continued her rampage until Ozzy and Drix arrived. The duo battled Cryo, Drix fired heat capsules at her while Cryo fired her ice blast. The combined blast caused a blizzard putting Hector in worse shape. Cryo escaped once again and made her way up to the brain.

Cryo froze most of the brain area. Ozzy attempted to make Hector move, but Hector didn't have enough strength. Drix managed to make a loud belch which alerted the rescue team. Cryo showed up at the spinal core and attempted to Ozzy and Drix. Ozzy fought off Cryo while Drix upstarted the spine. Cryo got thrown into the spine by Ozzy, got shocked and melted, killing her.

Appearance

Cryo is a monstrous, beast-like creature, depicted as the visual personification of the cold virus and hypothermia. She is primarily made up of various shades of blue and white, reflecting her ice-based powers. She is large and imposing, with a robust build, sharp fangs, and claws that she uses in combat. Her body is rugged and crystalline in texture, giving the impression of a creature made of solid ice.

Personality

Cryo does not exhibit a complex personality like some other villains in the series (Thrax, who was cunning and obsessed with infamy). Instead, she is driven by a singular, instinctual goal: existing only to lower the host's body temperature and bring about hypothermia, which would result in Hector's death. She operates more as an unstoppable, primal force of nature than a cunning criminal mastermind. Her actions are focused on freezing everything in her path and ensuring the cold takes over the body's systems. She is highly determined and difficult to stop with conventional means, showing high resistance to standard police tactics.

Powers and Abilities

Cryo possesses inhuman size and strength, as well as resistance to physical or energy attacks. She is able to manipulate ice for a variety of uses, such as blasts from her hands.
