Crystal Snail is one of the eight Maverick bosses fought in Mega Man X2. His past and desires are unknown. Under Sigma's orders, Snail guards the Energen Crystal Mine.
Personality[]
Crystal Snail is a Maverick who is blindly loyal to Sigma. He is also very extravagant because he sees the crystal that he collects as beauty. He is also very insecure about his body.
Physical Appearance[]
Crystal Snail resembles a blue humanoid gastropod. On his back is a red shell that he uses as armour.
Biography[]
Crystal Snail's s shell blocks any attack that the player shoots at him, and due to this, it's hard to attack him with his shell on. His main weapon is the crystal hunter. He shoots three of them at the walls and at X. His weakness is Magna Centipede's weapon, the Magnet Mine, which gets him out of his shell. The player can dash at Snail's shell to keep it away. He will try to follow his shell. He receives double damage if his shell and body crash into each other.
