Cuaran is a Master Sergeant in the Principality of Zeon military and a minor antagonist in the 1979 anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. He also appears as the protagonist of the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Hardgraph: IRON MUSTANG.
He was voiced by Akihide Ichito.
History[]
Cuaran was stationed at a Zeon base on Earth with a number of other Zeon soldiers. When the White Base entered the proximity of the base, Cuaran hatched a plan to destroy the RX-78-2 Gundam and cripple the Earth Federation Forces. Cuaran and his comrades Giyal and Sol, along with several other Zeon soldiers, plant bombs on the Gundam in order to destroy it. However, before the bombs can go off, the Gundam's pilot Amuro Ray is able to remove all of them as Cuaran and his friends watch in amazement. Cuaran and the other Zeon soldiers later drive by Amuro and, impressed by his removal of the bombs, wish him good luck.
