Curs or commonly known as Wolfhound's Group are major antagonists in the Ukrainian FPS Survival Horror video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl.
Curs is one of the biggest mercenary group in the franchise, and the biggest in Shadow Of Chernobyl, led by the infamous Wolfhound.
History[]
Mechenyj encounters Wolfhound's men right upon entering the Wild Territory, where the mercs see him. Wolfhound orders them to kill all witnesses regardless. After Mechenyj successfully makes his way through the mercs, Wolfhound orders his men to not underestimate Mechenyj.
Mechenyj makes his way through the Wild Territory, where he witnesses, how the mercenaries shot down the helicopter send by Kruglov. Apparently, the Curs are after the data that Kruglov posses. Kruglov begs Mechenyj to help him get to Yantar. The latter makes his way through the mercenaries and the dead ecologists.
Depending on the player's actions, Mechenyj will have to escort Kruglov to safety, while the mercs chase them, or to retrieve the data from Kruglov's body.
Membership[]
- Wolfhound, a foreign mercenary, infamous for his sadistic habit of shooting a person's limps before killing them.
- Wolfhound right-hand, a unknown mercenary and Wolfhound's supporter.
- Mercenary with a rocket launcher, one of Wolfhound's men, who shoots down the helicopter.
- For some reason, he is the only member of Curs with a pistol in his inventory.
- 23 members, a whole pack of mercenaries under Wolfhound's leadership, scattered all throughout the entrance to the Wild Territory, to the Crashed Helicopter.
Powers & Skills[]
- Weaponry: All the mercs are possessing various foreign weapons, usually the TRs 301.
Trivia[]
- The name of the group, Curs, are known only from the game files.
- If the player didn't kill anyone from the group. The whole group will disappear, even Wolfhound. Only one person will remain, one of the snipers from the first ambush.
