Cyborg 0017 is a young boy who was modified to become a member of the High-Teen Number Cyborgs and a supporting antagonist in Cyborg 009 vs. Devilman.
History[]
Abel was born in a Black Ghost facility in Canada and remodeled as a member of the High-Teen Number Cyborgs.
Along with Cyborg 0014 and Cyborg 0016, 0017 followed Cyborgs 002, 004 and 008. The three 00 cyborgs eventually took notice and confronted the High-Teen Numbers. A battle quickly ensued, but 0017 and 0016 were halted by 0014, who had decided to not kill the 00 cyborgs just yet.
0017 and the other High-Teen Numbers later confronted and fought the 00 Cyborgs when they arrived at Dr. Adams' laboratory. Though initially having the advantage due to their cell regeneration, the tide of the battle turned when 001 and 0015 flung a wave of anti-energy at them, disabling their regeneration.
The anti-energy also had the effect of evolving Seth/Atun into a new being. 0017 attempted to charge at the entity, but the angelic figure cut him down.

- Cyborg 0017 is similar to Cyborg 007 as a young boy based off on Cyborg 009 1966 Anime version and its sequel to Cyborg 009: Monster Wars and TV series in 1968.
