Cyprine and her twin half, Ptilol are the fifth of the Witches 5 who serve Professor Souichi Tomoe in the manga and anime series Sailor Moon. Both shares their mind and body with each other.
Cyprine was voiced by Yuriko Fuchizaki in Sailor Moon S, and Umeka Shōji in Sailor Moon Crystal in the Japanese version, and by Naomi Emmerson and Julie Lemieux in CWi English dub, and Dorothy Elias-Fahn in Viz Media English dub in the English version. Ptilol was voiced by Rumi Kasahara in Sailor Moon S, and Umeka Shōji in Sailor Moon Crystal in the Japanese version, and by Sara Sahr in CWi English dub, and Dorothy Elias-Fahn in Viz Media English dub in the English version.
Appearance[]
Cyprine has blue hair and blue eyes. Her hairstyle looks similar to Petirol's hairstyle with the only the differences being the position of the bun/braid and the color of the hair. She wears a black dress with blue shapes near the top, her dress has a blue underskirt, matching blue tights and slightly darker blue boots. She has many ribbons on her outfit and has a clove-shaped red earring.
Ptilol is the red opposite of Cyprine. She has red eyes with matching red hair tied in a side bunned ponytail braid on her left side, unlike Cyprine who has her tied on her right side.
Biography[]
While Cyprine was using a glass statue to extract Pure Hearts from several people at once. The Sailor Senshi fought her and Petirol, who were unstoppable together, but Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter separated them, and Cyprine chased after Sailor Jupiter and shot an energy wave at her, which hit Petirol instead and destroyed her, at the same time Petirol shot an energy wave at Sailor Mars, but hit Cyprine instead, destroying her.
Trivia[]
- Cyprine and Ptilol are similar to Twinrova, as two witches, one red and one blue, whose attacks are turned upon each other, and who are considered one witch (Koume and Kotake transform together into Twinrova during the battle).
- Also they are similar to Cyborg 0010 from Cyborg 009, as twin siblings of Plus (left and red) and Minus (right and blue) with their same powers.
- Both of them are like Twin sisters.
