Biography[]
During the events of the film, Cyrus is impressed by Wednesday Addams' science fair project, and as the Addams Family were on vacation, they were approached by Mr. Mustela, a lawyer who claims that Wednesday was switched at birth and not to be an Addams member. They ignored him, and on the road, Mustela and his henchman Pongo chases the family, but eventually lost track of them.
While stopping at New York, Fester suddenly mentions that he juggled babies in the delivery room where Wednesday was born, which shocks Gomez and Morticia. During the way to Miami, Wednesday managed to kidnap Mustela on her own, and found out that he and Pongo were working for Cyrus, Mustela then convinced her she should get her dad's DNA to prove that she is not his biological daughter, which she eventually did so, and found out that she indeed wasn't the daughter of Gomez and Morticia.
Later that night, Wednesday snuck out of the house while her family was sleeping, and being followed by the butler Lurch. The two then head to Sausalito, California, where they walk up to the doorsteps of Cyrus' residence. Cyrus then takes Wednesday and Lurch in and introduces them to his wife and daughter, respectively, Ingrid and Ophelia, both of whom strangely are showcasing animalistic traits. Cyrus then takes Wednesday to his laboratory, where the DNA results prove that the two are related. Just then, however, the Addams family come to take Wednesday home, but when Wednesday notices their arrival, she refuses, stating that she is no longer an Addams. She and Cyrus agree to offer shelter for the Addams family that night, where Pugsley begins to notice Ophelia, with whom he falls in love with, is acting like a pig, and Ingrid is acting like a bird. He then begins to deduce that Cyrus used a special formula to turn people into people-animal hybrids, and thus explaining why they are behaving and acting this way.
Moments after, Cyrus then puts the Addams family in test tubes in his laboratory and proceeds to experiment on them and use the same formula Wednesday used on Uncle Fester earlier in the movie on them. Wednesday refuses to let him, and so he then proceeds to do so himself, only for Wednesday to ask him if he has a piano; Cyrus is puzzled and asks her why he would have a piano in his lab (as a call-back to when a group of bikers nearly ran Wednesday and Lurch over on the road, and Wednesday wanted to start a pub brawl as payback, but her poor choice of wording by telling Lurch what he can do with his hands resulted in him playing “I Will Survive” on the piano). Wednesday then suggests for Lurch to show Cyrus what his cold, dead hands were capable of; Cyrus calls for Pongo to appear, and Lurch and Pongo rush over to each other, only to hug each other and smile, much to Cyrus' surprise. Wednesday explains Pongo and Lurch were friends at the abandoned asylum in New Jersey before her parents found Lurch.
Eventually, Cyrus is thrown into the chambers where the experiments are to happen. He then is mutated into a giant chicken monster and reveals that he lied about the DNA results, only for Uncle Fester, who has now become a octopus, he ends up fighting with Cyrus, but not before he ends up falling over a cliff and smashes a couple who are planning a marriage. Wednesday then turns Uncle Fester back to normal with a potion made from the blood of her relatives, and they all go home.
Following this, it is unknown what happened towards Cyrus if he survived the fall or not.

Trivia[]
- Cyrus Strange proved to be much more evil and dangerous than his predecessor Margaux Needler. While Margaux simply wanted to sell houses and form a community that would benefit everyone, Cyrus only cared about what he wanted and wanted to use his experiments for his own benefit.
- Cyrus serves as a dark reflection of what Wednesday could have ended up like if she had not cared more about her family and instead only cared about her own desires.
