D.L. Diamond is the main antagonist in the sixth episode of season one of Superjail, "Don't Be a Negaton".
He is voiced by the uncredited Michael M. Wartella.
History[]
Don't Be a Negaton[]
At SuperJail, Jared interrupts The Warden while he's listening to a self help cassette tape made by D.L. Diamond, a public speaker who's going to be visiting Superjail. At the show, D.L. Diamond tells a story of when he was once visited by an alien race called The Galactoids who took him to their planet and revealed to him that he was possessed by evil aliens called "Negatons". They then showed him how to get rid of the Negatons, with crystals that he then sells to everyone attending the show. After the show, D.L. Diamond gives The Warden a tape to play over Superjail's speakers to make everyone relax, while Jared is forced to get him a beer. However once Jared returns, he discovers that D.L. Diamond is actually none other than Daryl "The Dying" Diamond, a notoriously violent criminal and thief.
At the next show, everyone in Superjail except for Jared has fallen for D.L. Diamonds tricks and despite Jared's warning, no one listens to him. D.L. Diamond tells everyone in Superjail that The Galactoids are coming to visit them tonight and gives everyone in attendance "space dust", but before anyone takes it, Jared attempts to expose D.L. Diamond that he's wanted for countless crimes from petty theft to necrocide (killing someone who is already dead).
Jared takes the space dust in a last ditch attempt to prove that D.L. Diamond is a fraud, but quickly starts hallucinating, and everyone follows after him. At first, everything seems calm and relaxed, but the drug trip quickly goes bad and then horrifying for everyone. However, as D.L. Diamond is leaving with all of Superjail's valuables, the drug monsters turn out to be real as well as The Galactoids who blast away the monsters and abduct D.L. Diamond who thought they were made up.
On board the space ship, everything D.L. Diamond said turns out to be true as well and spends the rest of his days partying with his new alien friends.
Planet Radio[]
D.L. Diamond makes a very brief cameo appearance when Nicky is scrolling through Superjail's new television channels, D.L. Diamond can be seen in the Galactoids spaceship still selling the alien crystals to anyone willing to buy them.
