D.R. is one of the main antagonists of the one-shot manga, "Monsters", in the Wanted! manga collection, and its anime adaptation Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation. He was a man who helped Shirano in their plan to pillage villages by summoning a dragon and using the chaotic situation to steal people's belongings to become rich.
In the Japanese dub, he is voiced by Mitsuaki Madono. In the English dub, he is voiced by Kyle McCarley.
Biography[]
D.R. worked with Shirano in their plan to become rich. They would use the dragon horn that Shirano got after killing his own subordinates to summon a dragon to plunder villages. While Shirano would kill any person who witnessed their crimes, D.R. would steal the belongings for themselves. They continue their crimes without anyone noticing. After summoning the dragon to rampage and destroy a village, D.R. was stealing some belongings for themselves. A young girl, Flare, came up to them to ask for help and to save her parents. After Flare passed out, Shirano murdered her father and told D.R. that he would use this as an opportunity to become famous while D.R. moved on without him.
D.R. and Shirano would conspire to have another village destroyed so that they can loot people's belongings for themselves. After Ryuma got into a skirmish with Shirano in a restaurant, Shirano told D.R. about triggering confrontation with Ryuma and use that as pretense to scare the villagers by using the dragon horn to fake the summoning of a dragon. When D.R. encountered Shirano he used the opportunity to fake a stabbing by Ryuma and take the dragon horn out to summon the dragon before leaving the scene. As the villagers got blamed Ryuma for a potential dragon attack, Shirano asked the villagers that he could stay behind to deal with the dragon. As most people left the village out of safety, D.R. and Shirano loots everyone's residence to take important valuables for themselves while laughing, mocking the villagers, and openly admitting to committing to their crimes while thinking no one was around.
After they admitted their crimes, Flare and Ryuma overheard them. Flare was upset to hear about what happened and Ryuma confronts the men. D.R. and Shirano admits that they are villains while mocking Ryuma. As Shirano was about to kill Ryuma and frame him for their crimes, Ryuma fatally slashed and kill Shirano to D.R.'s shock. As D.R. is shocked at what happened, D.R. tried to plead with Ryuma that only he could stop the dragon with the dragon horn in an attempt to save his own life. Ryuma ignored D.R.'s pleas and killed him.
