D. D. Kovet is the main antagonist of the 1996 animated film An Angel for Christmas. He hates Christmas so he wants to keep that Holiday away from his town, Ironville, where he is the wealthiest person. He owns a big factory where the men of the town are working. He has his own police force to keep Christmas away at the season, named the Christmas Patrol lead by his loyal enforcer, Bear Hoskins.
He was voiced by the late Don Francks, who also voiced Mok Swagger in Rock & Rule, Doctor Claw in Inspector Gadget, Kybo Ren in Star Wars: Droids- the Adventures of C3P0 & R2D2, Sabretooth in X-Men: The Animated Series, Gmork in The Neverending Story's animated series and Dr. Greed in Journey to the Center of the Earth.
