Ms. Hurd, better known as her supervillain alter-ago DJ Drowsy Drawers, is a minor antagonist of the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.
Mr. Hurd was the art/music teacher at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School who got the supervillain alter ago "DJ Drowsy Drawers", a supervillain who to put the whole world to sleep.
Personality[]
As Ms. Hurd, she can be seen as a rude person with a small temper due to her age, as she is seen at the beginning of her debut declining the offers of others to be DJ for the night and calls it "RACKET!" and to turn it off, even if the student's performances were actually decent. She is also implied to have a fear of werewolves, as she runs away into her basement and stays there eating only her eyelashes and toenail clippings.
As DJ Drowsy Drawers, she can be seen as someone as rude with a small temper, but she can also be considered hegemonic and evil.
Biography[]
Because she believed she had heard werewolves vomit for three days at some point in her life, she retreated to her cellar. There, in order to survive, Ms. Hurd consumed her own eyelashes and toenail trimmings.
Ms. Hurd is chosen as the school dance's DJ in "The Dreadful Debacle of DJ Drowsy Drawers," much to George and Harold's chagrin. Later, George and Harold deceive her into remaining at home by scaring her with werewolves and playing sounds from The My Hammy Sound Machine.
That night, the battery in the machine run out causing her to leave her house. However, on her way to school, she gets involved in a collision with an ice cream truck and a toxic cafeteria food truck, which transforms her to turn into DJ Drowsy Drawers.
She goes to the school and put the kids, teachers, Melvin Sneedly and Captain Underpants to sleep. George and Harold use Melvin’s raise-o-robitron 2000 to fight her and even use headphones to control Captain Underpants to fight her too, when Captain Underpants wakes up, she throw her into a hoop and she was back to her old self. Ms. Hurd appear in later episodes.
Appearance[]
Her hair is similar to Tippy Tinkletrousers and she wears a green shirt and brown drawers. As DJ Drowsy Drawers, she has machine parts on her.

- In the Christmas special, Ms. Hurd died, but her ghost appears later in the special. She directed the Christmas Pageant the last year, but her ghost retired.
- Her name is a pun of "misheard".
