MF DOOM imposters, also known as Fake MF DOOMs or "DOOMposters", were rappers who would don the mask of the late hip-hop legend MF DOOM under his command and perform in his place at his concerts. This sparked much controversy amongst DOOM's fans, but was comedically in-character for the rapper, who claimed to be a "supervillain".

Trivia

• The DOOMposters were likely inspired by the Doom-Bots from the Marvel comics. The Doom-bots were robots created by famous Marvel villain Doctor Doom (A big source of inspiration for the MF DOOM persona), and would commit crimes in his name.
• DOOM said he once considered sending a white DOOMposter onstage, which is ironic considering that DOOM was African-American and the ruse would be blown the second the rapper was seen.
