D, also known as the God of the End, is the overarching antagonist of So I'm a Spider, So What? web novels, light novels, manga and anime, serving as one of the three "Perpetrators" who were responsible for shaping the story, alongside Potimas Harrifenas and Shiraori. She is the highest rank Administrator within the System and has been keeping an eye on the reincarnators, especially Kumoko.
However, as the series progressed in Volume 9, it was revealed that D's true identity was actually the original Wakaba Hiiro, who was supposed to be Kumoko's pre-reincarnation self. She was behind the reincarnation event that kickstarted the series and was responsible for the creation of Kumoko as well as (subsequently) Shiraori, by transferring a part of her soul into an ordinary spider in her classroom, giving it intelligence and sentience.
She is voiced by Saori Hayami.
Personality[]
Most of D's personality is shrouded in mysteries, but through her first appearance, it appears that she is a self-centered and playful trickster who cares her personal amusement above anything else. Despite her claims that her motives is more than just her own entertainment, she is shown to be sadistic as she toys with Kumoko.

- The best way to describe D is a jerk
- She could have healed her home world completely, but created the system instead; the energy needed to heal the world became skills, which returned to the world upon the user's death.
- She indirectly caused the death of an entire classroom of people, reincarnating them into her world for a laugh; though she half-heartedly claims it's to make up for it.
- The last hero and Demon King were trying to kill her, having become fed up with D.
- She put part of her soul and her memories as Wakaba onto the pet spider's soul; causing it to think it was her and leave the poor thing to have its newfound humanity warped by all the trauma it went through.
- Since her physical form is not well endowed, D pettily made sure reincarnations had small breasts; a few of them actually didn't have this happen, much to D's anger.
- D made sure that a boy who asked her out was Reborn as a girl.
- This backfired, since the boy only asked her our to hide his homosexuality; being a girl freed him from his fear.
- She's actually still on Earth, having survived the attempt on her life.
