You're no better than those shapeshifting Oni! You hear me, Heavy Metal!?
~ Daddy No Legs cursing Heavy Metal (actually Faith hiding her true identity) upon being tied by the ninja alongside Muzzle.
Daddy No Legs: Iron Baron speaks of serving his people, but he only serves himself.
Chew Toy: Yeah, he's kind of a jerk.
~ Daddy No Legs and Chew Toy about Iron Baron after the latter revealing his true colors.

Daddy No Legs is a minor antagonist of Season 9: Hunted of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

He is one of the many Dragon Hunters that were led by Iron Baron, with his role consisting of transporting prisioners believed to be Oni to the Dead's End's arena called the Pit. During a skirmish with his Dragon target, he lost his two legs, causing him to use a spider-like mech with four legs to walk around. He is friend with Muzzle, and is one of the few people who can understand him.

He is voiced by Ian James Corlett.

Biography[]

Background[]

Some years ago, Daddy No Legs lost his legs during a skirmish with a presumed Dragon that was his target. This caused the Hunter to use a spider-mech in order to be able to walk around again.

Hunted[]

Firstbourne[]

Daddy No Legs does not appear physically in the episode, but it was presumed he was one of the Hunters who captured Kai, Jay and Zane, as he told to Iron Baron that "we took them by surprise," with the "we" implying he was among the group who captured the ninja.

Iron & Stone[]

After the ninja were brought to Iron Baron, the leader noticed that they did not look like what he imagined. Daddy No Legs said to Baron that they captured the ninja by surprise and that there may be more (Oni).

After Iron Baron ordered the ninja (calling them Oni) to be thrown into the Pit, Daddy No Legs took their chains and proceeded to transport them to the Pit. Along the way, he got distracted by the ninja's talk about Dead's End and knocked into a metal board carried by two Hunters before resuming the transport of the ninja to the Pit. He wasn't present when the ninja fought Slab, the Pit's Dragon, and revealed their Elemental powers.

Radio Free Ninjago[]

Soon after Heavy Metal chained up the ninja, Daddy No Legs took them to the Dieselnaut's prison in the back of it, where he was witness of Iron Baron's talk with the ninja. After Iron Baron left, he spotted Cole and a child Wu (disguised as "Rocky Dangerbuff" and "Dangerbuff Jr.") trying to ride the Dieselnaut's turret. After the disguised ninja said to him that they were asked to lend a hand, Daddy No Legs answered that he wouldn't go hunting with them since, according to him, "no Dangerbuff [...] can shoot a hole in the ground." Wu then told Daddy No Legs to stay at home because Iron Baron said he needed all the hands and legs he can get. Seemingly bothered by the answer including legs (which he technically doesn't have since he lost his original legs), Daddy No Legs walked away.

At the night of the hunt, Daddy No Legs and the other Hunters explained to Cole and Wu the story about Firstbourne and Iron Baron's goal to find the Dragon Armor, with the spider-mech Hunter gloating about seeing himself riding the mother of all Dragons. When the pole with the attached ninja attracted a Wind Dragon, Daddy No Legs ordered Cole to fire the turret at her. Cole shot the pole under the pretext that it was a mistake. He only earned Daddy No Legs' hate who ordered Cole to get out of the turret. He later signaled the Hunters to pursue the Wind Dragon under Iron Baron's order. They chased the Dragon until Heavy Metal managed to bring it down.

How to Build a Dragon[]

When the Hunters were returning to the Dead's End, Daddy No Legs asked Muzzle to fix the Dieselnaut's radio since a message of Lloyd was driving him crazy. He then noticed the captured ninja waking up and welcomed them back to the Dead's End. After returning, Cole spoke about the success of the capture to Daddy No Legs, but the latter didn't say a word a left with Muzzle.

At the night of the feast, when Iron Baron gave a speech, Daddy No Legs along with the other Hunters and finally Iron Baron spotted the fake Firstbourne, yet they believed it was the real one and tried to bring it down. After Iron Baron shot it with a chain rifle, the real Firstbourne appeared and attacked the Dead's End. When the ninja alongside Cole and Wu tried to free the Wind Dragon, Daddy No Legs interfered with a group of Hunters, calling Cole a traitor, however Cole revealed his disguise and that he was a ninja (much to Muzzle's confusion), only for Daddy No Legs to order his Hunter group to attack them. Iron Baron appeared, revealing the ninja's trick and ordered their capture, only for the freed Wind Dragon to blow them away. After the ninja escaped, Iron Baron ordered the Dieselnaut to be prepared. When Daddy No Legs asked if it was for Firstbourne, Iron Baron replied it was for the ninja.

The Gilded Path[]

Some time after Heavy Metal revealed her true identity as Faith, Daddy No Legs and Muzzle catched up to them. Faith got time to use her Heavy Metal disguise and make like she captured them. After Daddy No Legs congratulated her and was about to return to tell Iron Baron the good news, Muzzle noted how Wu has grown into a teenager compared to the child they saw during Firstbourne's attack at the Dead's End. When Daddy No Legs tried to figure things out, he was tied up alongside Muzzle by the ninja. Daddy No Legs proceeded to curse Heavy Metal and threaten her about Iron Baron having her head before they left.

Two Lies, One Truth[]

Daddy No Legs and Muzzle were later found by Iron Baron and the rest of the Hunters. The two tied Hunters revealed Heavy Metal's betrayal and change of side with the ninja, enraging Iron Baron. After Baron sent Jet Jack and her group of Hunters to hunt the ninja, Daddy No Legs and Muzzle were freed from the chains off-screen.

The Weakest Link[]

When Iron Baron's Hunters stopped, Daddy No Legs asked Baron why did they stop, since Jet Jack placed a beacon on the ninja's vehicles. They stopped at the borders of Oni Land, but Iron Baron ordered to cross the line in order to continue the hunt for the ninja and Heavy Metal.

Later when the Hunters chased the ninja, Iron Baron proposed that anyone that captures Heavy Metal could be his Number Two following Jet Jack's complaint after discovering Heavy Metal's true female identity. Daddy No Legs told Muzzle that he could be Baron's Number Two, seemingly interested by the proposal.

When the ninja boarded the Dieselnaut, Daddy No Legs was kicked off of it by the ninja.

Saving Faith[]

After the ninja were recaptured and tied to poles, Iron Baron and the Hunters, including Daddy No Legs, celebrated and gloated about their future success of obtaining the Dragon Armor. When Faith tried to expose Iron Baron's lies, Daddy No Legs was confused, but it followed into an argue between Baron and Faith, with Baron threatening to silence his Hunters and activating the poles' devices to hush the ninja and Faith. However, Wu regained his memories and broke free before fighting the Hunters (although Daddy No Legs didn't took part of the fight). Iron Baron soon neutralized Wu's staff and proposed and offer: if Wu leads him to the Dragon Armor, then Baron would free the ninja. After Wu agreed, he and Baron left to Firstbourne's nest.

Lessons for a Master[]

As a result, the Hunters were divided in terms of opinion and argued whether to trust the ninja or not. Daddy No Legs was part of the Hunters who sided with Muzzle, defending the latter on one occasion. Finally they to free the ninja and put their differences aside in order to stop Iron Baron from obtaining what he wants, until they realized it was too late since the bridge Wu and Baron crossed already collapsed.

Later, when Wu appeared riding Firstbourne, the Hunters were scared at first, but Wu soon reassured them and told that Iron Baron's days were over, causing the Hunters to cheer in victory. After saying goodbye to the ninja, the latter rode some Dragons and Firstbourne and departed from the First Realm through a portal. When Daddy No Legs asked where did they go, Faith simply answered "Ninjago."

March of the Oni[]

Endings[]

When the Oni, led by the Omega, invaded the Realm of Oni and Dragon, Daddy No Legs was among the first who witnessed their arrival and one of the few who started to flee. However, every Hunter, including him, and Dragon were turned to stone by the Oni's Darkness.

After the defeat of the Oni, every Hunter and Dragon unfroze.

Personality[]

Daddy No Legs is a Hunter who initially followed Iron Baron's orders without questioning him, he however noted that Baron only served himself despite claiming he served his Hunters. he abandoned that loyalty following the reveal of Iron Baron's true nature.

He seems to dislike anyone who is believed to be Oni, and has a fear of the demons as shown in his line "There may be more" after capturing the ninja when he believed them to be Oni. He still maintains that fear even after learning they left long ago, the clear example being when he ran away from the Omega at the simple witnessing of his arrival in the flashback in March of the Oni.

He likes his friend Muzzle, sometimes hunting with him, as he understands the latter's gibberish. During the Hunters' argue of trusting the ninja or not, he defends him when arguing agaisnt Jet Jack.

Additionally, he seems to dislike anyone from the Dangerbuff clan because he clearly believes they lack marksmanship a lot. He also dislike people who backstabs him, similar to Iron Baron, and often curses the backstabber.
