Biography
Past
Dai Shi's origins are unclear since they were never explained but he believed that animals and beasts should rule the planet and humans should be erased. Founding the Dai Shi Clan to accomplish this, he waged a war against humanity in a conflict that became known as the Great Beast War. Some 10,000 years ago though, a group of brave warriors channeled their Animal Spirits and were able to imprison Dai Shi. This group then founded the secretive martial arts clan known as Pai Zhuq to prevent Dai Shi's followers from rescuing him.
Jungle Fury
In 2008 however, Dai Shi is accidentally released when the arrogant Pai Zhuq senior Jarrod is enraged by being refused as one of the three protectors. As a result, he accidentally opens Dai Shi's box and flees where he is then possessed by the dragon spirit before retaking control of the Temple of the Dai Shi using Jarrod's body. Dai Shi lives off fear and the more humanity grows scared, the stronger he becomes but he needs to gather a lot of fear to regain physical form so he has Camille and his army of Animal Spirit-enhanced Rinshi. With the help of the Five Fingers of Poison, people's fear increased and he was able to morph into an armored Lion form using Jarrod's Lion spirit.
Eventually, Casey fights Dai Shi and he was forced out of Jarrod so Dai Shi opens a portal to the Spirit World and revives all of his fallen warriors, the Overlords, the Five Fingers of Poison and the Phantom Beasts. All seven masters of the Rangers unite and progress to the highest level of Pai Zhuq but Dai Shi takes their animal spirits to become his ultimate Dragon form. Although he easily decimates the Wolf and Rhino Pride Megazords, Jarrod (who had previously refused to fight what he saw as a losing battle) arrives and force-feeds himself to Dai Shi before using all of his energy to weaken the gigantic dragon. With Dai Shi helpless, Casey, Theo, and Lilly combine thier powers to finally destroy Dai Shi once and for all.
