The Daka are a race of monsters created by Emperor Ganishka and a hostile species in Berserk.
Appearance[]
The Daka mainly resemble very deformed, demonic-like humans. They have red skin and many misshapen horns on their head. Their mouths are large with big tusks and teeth, the tusks causes them to be unable to close their mouths. The eyes of the Daka are dark and small.
In human form, they are bald men with both muscle and fat, and their skin is spotted, their fangs turn into normal human teeth, and their claws into nails.
Powers and Abilties[]
The Daka are equipped with madu spears and wear simple lamellar armor. Although they are no more than cannon fodders to Guts's party and the Apostles, but a large number of Dakas can kill one Apostle and Daka are more than a match to ordinary humans. When a Daka is slain, its dead body will slowly turn into that of a human. When in need of faster mobility, they utilize Tiger Pishachas for transportation.
Personality[]
When it comes to behavior, there isn't any unique variety between each individual Daka.
They seem to act as simpleminded soldiers whose focus in life is purely for fighting, although this is mainly because of the dark arts that corrupted them instead of typical sadism, meaning that the Daka are maybe deep down more naïve victims then true monsters.
History[]
The Daka are born by corrupting human fetuses using an enslaved mass of chained Apostle (later revealed to be an artificial Behelit) and magic. By sewing a huge mass of apostles together, force-feeding them with amniotic fluids and dropping live, pregnant human women inside (the Kushan soldiers have raped the women to make them pregnant) and as a result, the Daka are born in the Astral realm, within the Apostles, bursting from their mothers' stomachs, killing them in the process. They are fed human meat (their own mothers') and live only to serve their master, Ganishka.
