Biography[]
Dallas Wanamaker and Juanita Alvaro are newscasters who are enslaved by Gleeman Vox so they can slander dozens of contestants. They kept praising the Exterminators, even Ace Hardlight despite that Ace Hardlight didn’t sell enough merchandise. After Ace Hardlight was defeated, Dallas and Juanita slandered Ratchet for falsely killing him even though fans liked Ratchet. As Ratchet decides to stop Gleeman Vox at the Battledome and free the people, Vox overloads the three generators on the station with the intent of killing everyone on site, including Dallas and Juanita. With Dreadzone collars now attached to their necks, the duo pleadingly begs Ratchet to save the day, becoming his fans and stopping their slander. During the commentary, Dallas mentioned he put money on Ratchet to win, much to Juanita's anger. During Vox's battle with Ratchet, Clank picked up the remaining captives in a shuttle, including the dup of announcers. As they fly away, Dallas gets into a petty fight with the Dreadzone Kids from the various commercials, much to Juanita's joy.
After the cancellation of DreadZone, Dallas and Juanita starred in a reality show which portrayed them as a married couple. Although their marriage wasn't meant to be official, Dallas switched in a real Justice of the Peace for the wedding ceremony.
