Damian Beelzly is a major character in the webcomic Zoophobia. He also appeared as the main protagonist of The Son of 666 and the secondary antagonist of the animated short, Bad Luck Jack.
He's the mischievous heir to the throne of Hell, but spends most of his time hanging with friends, playing tricks and just having fun instead.
He was voiced by Johnny Aponte in The Son of 666 and Alexander Yap in the Zoophobia web series.
Biography[]
Background[]
Damian is a 16 year old Anti-Christ, though he isn't as evil as his parents would like him to be, and is very laid back, always jumping at the chance to explore the overworld (Safe Haven), in his frequent efforts to indulge in a temporary escape from the depths of Hell. This is largely due to the restrictions placed on him by his father, the Devil, which kept him confined to his parents' castle in the underworld throughout the majority of his childhood. He has a crush on Kayla, despite the fact that she is in a relationship with Zill, and she runs away during every one of his attempted flirtatious encounters with her. Damian's closest friends are Addison and Sahara. Though Damian's parents cared for him deeply and nurtured him throughout his childhood, Damian was placed under the watchful eyes of both Tentadora and Major Styx from a very young age to ensure that he was kept out of trouble. He is often seen accompanying his cousin Jack during his time spent on the Zoo-Phoenix Academy's school grounds. He flirts with Addison, and is shown to be very clingy and protective of him, even going as far as becoming very openly jealous when Addison is asked out by Gustav only a short while after the two had met.

The Main Five[]
Despite having a crush on Kayla and Addison and being Jack's cousin, Damian is not close to the Main Five and often ruins the end of their musical performances by setting their piano on fire, Damian is also jealous of their talent and even if they accomplish something with great skill, Damian will still claim their performance was terrible such as when he gave Zill and Jack a score of -0 after they won a dodge ball game.
Jack[]
Of all the members of the Main Five, Jack is the one he gets along with the most, and ironically, the one who haunts the most because of his curse. Damian often accompanies Jack into the corridors of the school, although he often enjoys teasing him just for personal taste. Damian nevertheless does not seem to hate his cousin, however being aware of his insecure and often nervous nature. Jack, on the other hand, does not seem to like Damian that much, comparing him to other members of his family, Jack sees his family as most of the cause of his unhappiness, due to the fact that, as explained to Cameron, it reminds him of the his curse. Despite his resentment, Jack admitted that he loves his family deep down.
Zill[]
For Damian, Zill is like a rival. Due to the fact that he is in love with his fiancée, Kayla, Damian doesn't appreciate Zill that much, considering him a hindrance. Damian rejoices in seeing Zill fail before his very eyes, feeling victorious in having defeated his rival in love. Despite this, Zill has always had the strength to get up and set things right. This attitude of Zill infuriates Damian, feeling perpetually beaten by him.
Kayla[]
Despite Damian having a crush on Kayla, the latter seems to feel a real fear of him, and perhaps even a personal contempt, seeing him as a constant annoyance impossible to get rid of.
Spam[]
Spam and Damian have never interacted with each other. When Damian ruins the Main Five show at the beginning of the short film Bad Luck Jack, Spam doesn't seem to take it personally.
Vanexa[]
As with Spam, Damian has never interacted with Vanexa. Though like Spam, she doesn't seem to blame him when she ruins the Main Five show by burning the piano at the beginning of the short film Bad Luck Jack.
Satan[]
Damian is the son of the antichrist, Satan. Satan is very fond of his son, even if he is extremely strict with him and is disappointed that after all his son is not as evil as he is. Satan does not want Damian to set foot on the surface and gets very angry when Damian disobeys his orders. But Satan, despite his sternness and his aristocracy, eventually promised his son to go to the surface only for the sake of his son.
Tentadora[]
Damian loves Tentadora very much, seeing her as the true father figure he has ever related to besides her mother. Tentadora's carefree and determined temper prevailed against the stern and calm nature of her mother, Narissa. Tentadora always looked after him and always had his back, especially when she saved Damian's life in time of need when Damian was about to be captured by police officers.
Major Styx[]
Major Styx has always viewed Damian as an annoying and irritating figure. Despite that, he never really hated it. In a drawing by Vivziepop, it has been confirmed that despite Major Styx's annoyance, he has sexual innuendo about Damian. Despite the drastic ages; as Damian is a teen and Major Styx is an adult.
Jill[]
Damian has never been seen interacting with Jill in the comics, but in Vivziepop's relationship tree drawing, it has been confirmed that they are simply friends.

- Damian is Greek for "Demon".
- His last name, "Beelzly", is derived from the demon Beelzebub.
- Damian appeared in one of Vivziepop's videos called The Son of 666.
- Vivienne "Vivziepop" Medrano, creator of Zoophobia, has claimed that Damian is her favorite character in the comic.
