Superman's been more of a father to me than you ever were.
~ Damian Wayne to Batman.
Robin: I just had a great idea!
Deadshot: Put your hands up and surrender?
Robin: No! Ha! I'm going to shoot you with your own guns!
~ Damian Wayne threatening Deadshot.

Damian Wayne, also known as Robin and under the mantle of Nightwing, is the twisted alternative version of the heroic main-universe Damian Wayne. He is a major antagonist in Injustice: Gods Among Us and returned in Injustice 2, with Robin as his default outfit.

He is the estranged son of Bruce Wayne, he appears as Nightwing in the present reality of Injustice: Gods Among Us, having accidentally killed Dick Grayson, the previous Nightwing, which caused his betrayal after he stopped being Batman's son, even Dick's girlfriend from Teen Titans Starfire developed a deep hatred towards Damian after his accidental murder but joining Superman's Regime in the worst part.

Unlike the versions when he was Robin, this version is very dark and a lot more vindictive, despite having a bit of his counterpart's good side when he did care about the late-Dick (now as the new Deadman after the original Deadman's spirit passed away and being the one who gave Damian his old Nightwing equipment as a birthday present), and Alfred (before the latter was killed by Zsasz prior the game's timeline retcons the comic timeline). He sides with Superman's One-Earth Regime in the parallel dimension, the man who responsible for sending Zsasz into killing Alfred to manipulate Damian as his pawn in the earlier 5 years later prior the retcon on the second game.

He was voiced by Neal McDonough in the first game, and then by Scott Porter in the second game.

Damian was born without his father's knowledge and trained with the League of Assassins until he was a young teenager. After his training was completed, Damian was finally revealed to his father, who accepted him as his newest Robin, hoping to put the child's training with the League to a better use.

Year One

Robin first appears after having been bested in a sparring match against Nightwing in the Batcave. When Nightwing points out he lost because he was going for a lethal attack instead of just trying to cripple him, Damian responds by tossing one of his batons at Dick's head. Nightwing is saved by a timely intervention from Superman.

Damian is flustered by Superman's sudden appearance, and Superman asks if Batman is in. When Nightwing confirms he is at his computer, Damian interjects that his father has been, "Broodier then usual." Superman merely responds that his father is the master of brooding.

As Superman makes his way further down into the cave, Damian thanks him for killing the Joker, pointing out how much safer Gotham feels with him gone. Superman ignores Damian and asks Dick and him to leave so that he may speak privately with Batman. Damian is seen with Dick watching Superman and Batman as the two argue.

Damian reappears alongside his father and Nightwing, watching Superman's broadcast of his intentions to remove the super-villains from Arkham Asylum. While Batman and Nightwing scramble to the Bat-Plane to meet Superman at the asylum and prevent his plans, Damian refuses. His father orders him to follow but Damian replies, "So long as we're flying to Arkham to help Superman burn it to the ground." Batman and Nightwing leave without an angry Damian who calls his father self-righteous and arrogant.

Later, at Arkham, Batman and Nightwing confront Superman and Wonder Woman who reveal they had anticipated their arrival thanks to Damian, who stands between the two having chosen to side with Superman over his own father, affirming he knew they would "Stand with the monsters," but that Bruce and Dick should be no trouble for the League.

Nightwing asks what Damian is doing and the young Robin responds that he is bringing criminals to justice and that he is standing by Superman, Cyborg and Wonder Woman while pointing out that Dick and his own father are standing by criminals like Killer Croc and Calendar Man. Damian is quiet after this, only watching as the killer Zsasz and Mad Hatter are taken away after Cyborg opens their cells. But when he tries to open the Riddler's, Batman activates a virus he had uploaded into Cyborg, incapacitating him.

As Cyborg lies on the ground writhing in pain, Damian looks to his father and asks incredulously, "What the hell is wrong with you??" Nightwing intervenes and deactivates the virus, trying to calm everyone down, though it doesn't work as Cyborg moves to attack Batman but is stopped by Green Arrow. Just then Harley Quinn announces her presence and releases all the inmates to attack the heroes. The Asylum suddenly begins shaking as Solomon Grundy bursts from the floor under the heroes. Though Robin sees him, he is snatched by his head into one of Grundy's huge hands and dragged underground despite Arrow, Wonder Woman and Superman's combined attacks. Damian's father can do nothing to help him as he is pulled underground, with Wonder Woman, Superman and Nightwing following after them.

Robin is held easily by Solomon Grundy despite his struggles but he is freed before Grundy can crush his skull by Superman who uses his heat vision to cut off the hand that was holding him. Nightwing then pries the huge fingers off of Damian, allowing the younger Robin to catch his breath. When Dick asks if he is ok, Damian snaps that he was fine and had it under control. Dick teases him about lulling the monster into a false sense of security by "Putting your head in his fist."

Just then Batman descends down before the two and asks his son if he is all right. Damian doesn't respond, only glowers as Nightwing answers for him. Batman then orders the two to return above and put the inmates back in their cells. When Damian protests that they're not going back to their cells, Batman snaps at him not to argue and Robin and Nightwing comply as Solomon Grundy rises back up.

In the Asylum above, Damian furiously beats on the Riddler with his kali sticks while ranting, "I am so sick of all you. You think you deserve help?" As the Riddler helplessly falls over, Damian continues to beat him into submission while saying, "After everyone you've hurt. You think society owes you freaks anything?!"

Nightwing tells him that's enough, but Damian glares at him and argues, "You're as bad as him! Superman is right. They don't deserve our protection!"

When Nightwing reminds him that "Robin doesn't beat people once they're down" Damian snaps and screams, "You're not Robin anymore! Stop telling me what to do!" and throws one of his kali sticks at Dick when he has his back to him. Dick is struck on his temple and dazed, falling over and breaks his neck on a piece of rubble.

Damian, confused, approaches Dick's body, calling to him, but becomes horrified when he gets no response. Moments later, Superman, Wonder Woman and his father rise out of the floor, with Superman calling an end to the riot. When Batman sees his son over Nightwing's body, Damian apologizes with tears running down his cheeks.

Though he tries to protest, the horrified and outraged Batman screams at his own son before shoving him away from Dick's body. Superman offers Damian a comforting hand and his understanding as Damian brokenly whispers, "I didn't..." and leans on Wonder Woman as his father carries his older brother's body out of the Asylum and into the rainy night.

Damian is seen with the rest of the Justice League, silently listening and observing to the League as they discuss his father's involvement with Hawkgirl's kidnapping before her sudden return.

Damian observes the League as they argue amongst themselves before finally pointing how they're all playing into his father's hands. Damian then explains Batman's reasons for allowing Hawkgirl to return with his message, which would cause a rift to form between the League, thus making Hawkgirl a more useful weapon than anything else Batman could throw at them. Lex quickly confirms Damian's theory and suggests a press conference in Paris so the League can use a more diplomatic approach instead of forcing their peace on the world.

Robin is with the rest of the League on the Watchtower where they witness the Parademons invade, but remains silent. After the invasion, Damian is with Cyborg and Green Lantern when Lobo rams his way through the Watchtower. The young man's life is saved thanks to Hal sealing the breached hull of the station.

Damian is among the rest of the Justice League present as Lex Luthor presents the completed Kryptonian nanotech pill, with Damian not totally able to wrap his mind around on how it works, calling it a 'magic pill'. Though Lex tries to explain how it works, Damian still just calls it a 'magic pill' and Lex lampshades his disbelief by reminding him he's a space station filled with people who can move mountains.

Sometime later, Damian snatches the sample pill and pockets it before using the Watchtower's teleporters to warp to Gotham City and heads to the Batcave. He apologizes to a display of Nightwing's costume before jumping in surprise when Alfred greets him.

Alfred asks him if he received his letter and while Damian admits he did, Alfred then asks him if he planned on writing back and Damian admits he tried but it was not easy. Before the two can converse further, Damian's father returns and demands to know why he is there. Damian immediately decides to leave but Batman calls for him to stay after talking with Alfred and tells his son he wants to talk.

Damian then angrily demands to know why his father left him at Arkham after Dick's death and insists that Superman is right and he is wrong but too full of himself to see that. Though Batman tells him it's not about him, Damian snaps that it is, ranting about his father's personal pain, tragedy and impossible standards. Alfred tries to calm Damian down with a comforting hand on his shoulder and urges him to hear his father out, but Damian is so angry he demands Alfred let him go before throwing him into the Batcomputer, shattering the monitor.

Damian is shocked by his actions and desperately throws his enraged, advancing father away from himself, accidentally knocking over the giant penny in the cave. The penny threatens to crush Batman but Hawkgirl suddenly appears and catches the penny, and easily lowers it safely to the ground. Damian rushes over to Alfred, apologizing for striking him and begins to leave with Hawkgirl when she suggests they go but becomes confused when she complies to Batman's orders to stay.

Damian suddenly wonders how she even knows where the Batcave is, and quickly puts together the evidence including the facts she was 'released' by his father to give the League his message and that she was the only one speaking out against the enhancement pill, coupled with her increased strength, Damian realizes 'Hawkgirl' isn't who she says she is and uses an incendiary grenade to expose Martian Manhunter's real form. In the confusion, Damian manages to get to a teleporter in the cave and warp back to the Watchtower.

Damian has informed Wonder Woman of his father's actions and she lets the other members of the League know. Though the Flash is stunned by all this, calling it crazy and thinking Batman would never go that far, Damian is convinced it is exactly what he would do and tells the League none of them really know his father or the lengths he's gone to prepare against them, insisting his father will strike preemptively.

Superman decides to strike first instead and prepares to broadcast Batman's actions and identity to the entire world, but the Watchtower suddenly goes offline. Though everyone panics at first, Superman insists they get Batman's identity out. Cyborg insists there is no way but Damian reminds him that he's a living computer and Luthor is the smartest man in the world before asking them how they can't put four words on the internet.

Moments later, Damian's father's identity is revealed to the world and Wonder Woman straps him into a chair in the Watchtower before she and Superman push it down to Earth. Diana expresses pride for his bravery while Damian just says he refuses to be a coward like his father.

Damian is with the rest of the Justice League as Superman announces his intentions to hunt down his father, now labeled a terrorist, before unveiling his growing army.

Year Two

Damian silently pays his respects to the departed Green Arrow before leaving. After the proximity alert goes off in the Watchtower, Damian tells Superman he has a 'visitor': Sinestro.

After the seven month time skip, Robin is present on the Watchtower alongside Cyborg when he spots a fireball descending down on the Earth. When Damian asks what it is, Cyborg replies that it looks like "a person!" Robin tells him to contact Superman, but Cyborg reveals he's on Themyscira with Wonder Woman and not responding to his communications.

Robin then tells him to use the Watchtower's orbital laser but the object is moving too fast. Damian asks where the Green Lanterns are and though Cyborg says they're en route, they won't make it in time to avoid casualties.

Robin is among the gathered Regime forces stationed outside the Hall of Justice, silently watching as the sky itself turns green from the intensity of the Green Lantern Corps opening attack. When the resistance forces attack the Hall, Damian rushes to the Flash's defense when he sees Catwoman subdue him with a device, though his bo staff is destroyed simply from striking an armored Catwoman. Damian demands to know what Selina did to the Flash, and after she explains the device's design in non-lethally subduing the Flash, Damian goes on a rant, demanding to know if his father created it, before pointing out how he was always thinking up ways to hurt heroes.

Damian asks Catwoman if she thinks his father hasn't developed something to exploit all of their weaknesses, and if his father really loves her. Catwoman, disgusted, just tells Damian to shut up before saying his father is better off without him. Robin and Catwoman then engage in an off-screen fight that ends with Damian defeated.

Robin's next appears in a locked cell with his hands cuffed, glaring at a teasing Catwoman.

Year Three

Damian spends most of Year Three under imprisonment. When Batman puts Superman into indefinite sleep, he tries and fails to ask for Damian and the other Regime prisoners to switch sides.

Damian is eventually freed when Trigon and Mister Mxyzptlk's fight distorts reality, and Flash transports all of the Regime's members safely to the House of Secrets. In order to stop the clash, Doctor Fate, Batman and John Constantine try to banish the celestial being to the void, and Dick, having now become the new Deadman, arrives in the House of Secrets to ask for Shazam's help. Before Dick departs, Damian apologizes for the accident years prior, which Dick accepts.

The plan works and both the Insurgency and the Regime members return back to their respective roles. Damian and the other Regime members are then personally thanked for their continued help against Batman.

Year Four

While out with Cyborg, Damian is attacked by a depressed Renee Montoya and is knocked unconscious by the former officer, who had now overdosed herself with 5-U-93-R Pills. Renee later dies of heart failure during her fight against Superman thanks to this overdose and her body is taken away by a heartbroken Bruce Wayne.

Later on, Hermes arrives demanding that Superman relinquish control of Earth. In response to the arrival of the Amazonian army, Damian and Cyborg bring out the rest of the One Earth Government's forces, who are met by Batman. When Wonder Woman defeats Superman but is attacked by an unknowing Sinestro of the rules of judgement-by-combat, a fight erupts between Regime and the Gods and Batman's faction. During this time, Bruce apologizes to Damian for being angry with his son over Dick's death and offers for them to work together again, holding no grudge over the incident. Damian then refutes his father's words, citing the hatred he traced from Bruce's eyes when he was shoved off of Dick, and immediately rips off his Robin patch from his costume. Bruce then proceeds to floor Damian with a gut punch in response.

Eventually, after Superman kills Hercules and Wonder Woman causes a second disturbance angered Zeus intervenes, and Superman is pressured to disband the Regime. Superman then fails to regain his power by inviting Poseidon to challenge his brother's claim, leading to Zeus attacking all humans that believe in other religions. Hoping to prevent a slaughter, Damian and the other Regime members stationed in Earth do battle against the gods, and they receive surprise reinforcements from the Insurgents in their fight.

During the fight, however, Cyborg traces multiple nuclear missiles being launched at their position. With Yellow Lantern knocked out, Wonder Woman redirects the missiles to space with the help Superman, thus averting disaster. Superman then arrives with the Highfather, who convinces Zeus to return back to the realm of the gods and to stop interfering with mortal affairs.

Year Five

Damian continues to loyally follow Superman, though he remains a constant visitor of Alfred despite their differing standpoints. Although Damian thinks his father's efforts are futile, Alfred points out that Superman is constantly hounded by his own fears, which is why the butler is still confident in Batman's eventual victory. Facing growing inner doubts for himself, Damian is tasked with finding the various villains that scattered thanks to Plastic Man's assault on the Regime's prison complex. Damian's search leads him to drop down on one of Gotham's warehouses, where he finds many of Batman's enemies taking refuge. Despite dropping many villains, Damian is overwhelmed by the numbers, but as he loses consciousness, he is barely able to see Bronze Tiger go berserk and attack the other villains. By the time he wakes up, he is in the Hall of Justice's medical bay, where Cyborg reveals that he received Damian's distress call, much to his confusion.

Damian then returns to his room where he finds a box left by Dick, containing Dick's Nightwing gear and a letter hoping for Damian to eventually grow past his father's shadow. Damian is then congratulated by Superman, but Damian reveals Alfred's previous comments on Superman's fear. Despite Dick's gift, Damian still finds self-doubt as he only inherits someone else's mantle. While moving through Blüdhaven as Nightwing, he is followed by various members of the League of Assassins, who wish for Damian to join them in toppling over Earth's governments in order to bring the world under their balance. In response, Damian kills all the assassins. He later catches both Harley Quinn and Catwoman in a robbery, the latter having deserted Bruce's group after their repeated failures. Damian later asks Catwoman for advice in rediscovering himself, which she replies is to reintroduce himself as something new. She then blasts Damian's face with a pepper bomb before escaping.

Days later, Damian makes a surprise visit to the Batcave, bringing along a cake to celebrate Alfred's birthday. To his horror, he only finds Alfred's corpse and reports the murder to the Justice League. Damian then begins to hunt down Alfred's killer, Victor Zsasz. During his hunt, he sees Victor under Batman's foot and demands his father to avenge Alfred by killing Zsasz. As Bruce still refuses to kill under his code, Damian and Bruce immediately fight over the defeated Zsasz. While Superman joins the fight, Batman takes a Kryptonian pill and proceeds to defeat his friend. He then asks Damian if he would be happy if his father finally broke his code and killed Superman, but Damian sees through his father's bluff and throws an attack designed to kill at his father.

The effects of the pill then wear off as both Yellow Lantern and Wonder Woman arrive and defeat Batman, but Flash intervenes and rescues Bruce as a show of honor to the late Alfred, while Victor Zsasz is reincarnated. Nonetheless, thanks to Superman having Sinestro turn a blind eye in surveillance, Damian is able to murder Zsasz, repeatedly slashing through to the killer and sarcastically asking which of his famous marks represented Alfred.

After killing Zsasz, Damian later burned down Wayne Manor in an attempt to gain closure over the matter.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Damian first appears crashing into Joker's Asylum, quickly knocking out several Joker Clan goons. After the Clown Prince of Crime himself managed to defeat Hawkgirl, Damian tried to charge at the Joker but is repelled by the clown's razor sharp cards. Before the two fought, Joker notes him siding with Superman over Batman. To which Damian replied by calling his own father a criminal, just like the Joker. The two battle, but Damian ends up getting defeated by Joker. Before the Joker can get a chance to finish him off, the Insurgents arrive and Hawkgirl grabs Damian and retreats.

At Stryker's Island, when Batman's Insurgency is starting an attack to save the prime universe's Batman, Nightwing encounters Green Arrow. Green Arrow, thinking that this version of Nightwing is Dick Grayson, tried to reason with him until the parallel universe's Batman revealed that Nightwing is Damian Wayne, who killed Dick Grayson and took his identity. Batman states that he stopped being his son after that and that Dick Grayson was his true son. After defeating Nightwing, Batman said that he's "dead to him." After Superman's defeat at the hands of the prime universe's Superman, Nightwing, along with other Regime allies got arrested.

Injustice 2

Damian, as Robin is seen in the prequel chapter several years ago during the first game's prequel events. It will explain how he defects his father and joins Superman's Regime, and somehow retconning his killing on Alfred's murderer, Zsasz, with Alfred's dead remained unknown. In the prequel comic when Damian is freed and forced to return to Ra's Al-Ghul's side instead of having his Regime friends freed along with it, Damian has a chance to resurrect Alfred to Lazarus Pit, while ambushing Batman's Insurgency, and ruining a wedding between Black Canary and alternate Green Arrow, including on kidnapping two of Black Vulcan's daughters and Connor Lance-Quinn (Black Canary and the original universe's late-Green Arrow's son) as hostages. As Harley Quinn in charge taking care of Connor, Vulcan's kid safely, Damian nurses a weakened revived Alfred. Despite Ra's threatening on Batman's Insurgency to surrender, Damian warns his grandfather that his father Batman will never give up no matter, and predicting the income of Insurgency's Justice League Task Force to Ra's hideout in South America, which became true as Batman implanted a nano tracking device on Connor, in case he is kidnapped like he is now. As Alfred began to recover, albeit still unable to talk for a moment in his recovery, Damian is having a heart to heart discussion with Animal Man on why someone who owned Batman a debt like Animal Man himself, even Vixen joins Ra's' faction. As Batman's Insurgence invaded Ra's' hideout successfully on both rescuing the kidnapped children and bested both Suicide Squads members (safe for Katana) and the impostor Batman, Damian goes hiding, leaving Animal Man to take care of Alfred alone, predicting Batman will come to Alfred soon. Just as Batman arrived in time after knocking Animal Man out, Damian fights his father to prevent him from nearing Alfred and foolishly think his father will lock him again. As Damian let his father finish him off with no regrets, Alfred is both recovered and getting tired of watching the father and son fighting each other just as Batman's allies arrived and try to stop the two fighting each other, lecturing them to reconcile and never blame each other. Just as Ra's arrived and Batman failed to ceased Blue Beetle from firing the ceiling to enter the hideout, leading a battle between Ra's and Batman's side, Damian takes Alfred to the safer place. When Blue Beetle accidentally kills El Diablo, causing an explosion on entire hideout with no one else being killed but only the animals are, Damian leave with his father, even though Alfred is now safe under protection of Batman's group.

Sometimes later, Damian cut his hair to short and paid a visit to his Regime ally, Black Adam on behalf of Ra’s proposal to co-operate. Despite Adam’s refusal, Damian understand Adam’s decision not to involve with Ra’s’ war for the sake of their Regime leader Superman. There, he first met Kara Zor-El, Supergirl and was unaware that she is Superman's biological cousin, despite Adam restrictively warn Damian to stay away from her. Though being put in a confined room by Adam, Damian has been visiting Kahndaq and knowing its environment for a long time since he joined the Regime five years ago. At night, he sneak into Supergirl’s room again just to train her powers. Shortly, he and Supergirl found the terrorists are threaten the hostage, and save them from the terrorists. On behalf of Kara not to kill the terrorists, Damian held back his killing intent and apprehended them, saving the hostages. Back at Kahndaq, Damian admit that his family are evil, but lied to Supergirl about Batman’s right reason to oppose Superman. As Adam witness the crime fighting Damian and Supergirl had done, Adam suggest Damian to stay in Kahndaq with them instead returning to Ra’s, and wants his help to rescue Wonder Woman from being imprisoned in Themyscira. Unaware to Damian nor Adam while both Regime members are worrying that the Amazonians will spill the truth about what the Regime had cause five years ago, they do not realize that one of the Amazonians are still loyalty to Diana and the Regime, meaning that Damian and Adam should not be worry about it.

When the news of the massacre on William City, Arizona reaches Damians ears, Damian suspect the massacre is actually Ra’s and Solovar’s doing, through sending a robot killer Amazo on murdering innocent human civilians (including children and pregnant women) for their so-called “re-balance of the world”, leading him must head back to the League of Assassins, where they hid in Gorilla City. Damian manage to convince his fellow allies Vixen and Animal Man about the news for what Ra’s and Solovar did to the innocent civilians, then spills both later on what they are doing is wrong. As Ra’s and Solovar began completely massacre every innocent humans, after Gorilla Grodd’s failed attempt of his uprising, Damian, Vixen and Animal Man alerts their Regime allies of the League of Assassin’s recent movements. Damian soon devices a plan for a another coup, along with Animal Man and Vixen against Solovar and Ra’s. Damian do have agree about Ra’s vision about the cruelty of the world, but completely gone too far on wiping every innocent humanity, unlike Superman (although Damian himself was the one who sided with a child murderer who murdered Shazam in the first place). While devising his plan alongside Animal Man and Vixen, they are spotted by the imposter Batman. However, it is revealed when Damian was forced to return the Assassins and spending time for Alfred’s revival, Damian figured out that the imposter Batman is actually none other than the revived Jason Todd. Damian try to convince Jason that they are completely sided with a wrong side like Ra’s and Solovar, and Damian still believe in Jason’s old vow not to hurt innocent humanity. Once Jason has finally been convinced, they rescue Professor Ivo, who was forced to work for Ra’s in control of Amazo while his children being held hostage, but was too late to realize that Ivo’s children was murdered for Ra’s’ cause. At a same time when the heroes of two factions are unable to stop Amazo, Damian told Kara that it is her time to join the fight and end Amazo once and for all. Although Amazo is defeated when Damian and his allies tried to escape from Ra’s, Damian got knocked out and caught again, and Animal Man is also killed. However, Vixen and Jason manage to escape and began to warning the Regime and Insurgency of Damian’s captures. Thankfully, his mother Talia began realize how right Damian is, just as his sister Anthanasia fell for Ra’s betrayal, and releases both siblings then escape to Wayne Manor where Alfred and a redeemed Selina are.

In Batman's prequel chapter part when Damian was Robin, he is first seen aiding his father to find Superman in Cellblock C of Arkham Asylum, but later defects him as Robin kills Zsasz and accuse his father for letting Jason Todd, and Superman's family Lois and their unborn son died by someone dangerous as Joker's hand, and Damian claim that he himself was raised League of Assassins as an assassin, different than his father's ideal of without killing on fighting crimes.

In a recent chapter's present time in many days after Ra's Al-Ghul's own Regime ends, at cost of Talia’s death, Damian is shown to have been return to his cell as a mean to wait for other Regime remnants to rescue him and his imprisoned Regime allies. He was later freed by the remaining escaped Regime members Black Adam and Wonder Woman (assisted by a newly recruit Supergirl), along with Cyborg during Brainiac and Society's reign, until Batman stops the conflict and made an uneasy alliance with the Regime to stop Brainiac and the Society, thus freeing Superman. He is last seen beaten by Supergirl when she is about leave in broken heart after learning how the Regime heroes have fallen 5 years ago, but must deal with Brainiac before the arguing start again first.

Classic Ending

In his Classic Battle ending, after defeating Superman, Nightwing realizes that he is capable of anything and challenges anyone who gets in his path. Seeing his ability to inspire fear in others, Nightwing is chosen by a yellow power ring and is recruited into the Sinestro Corps.

Multiverse Ending

After his father Batman sacrifices himself to protect Damian allowing him to deliver the final blow to Brainiac. Now with an appreciation of what their family's symbol truly means, Damian decides to carry on his father's legacy as the new Batman.

Bad Ending

If the Bad Ending alternative occurs the event of Injustice and the Masters of the Universe, Damian and Cyborg began to redeem himself like how Shazam, Flash and Hal, including Aquaman did, with Damian becoming the new Batman. He summons He-Man and his allies to Injustice Universe, due to He-Man’s nemesis Skeletor allied with Superman. Though he and his allies manage free Batman at 90%, Wonder Woman snapped Damian’s neck to death with her lasso in front of Batman, allowing him to be completely free by Damian’s death.

Batman: Dick was my son too.
Damian: I'm your only son, Old Man.
Batman: You stopped being my son when you killed Dick Grayson. He was my son.
Damian: It was an accident!
Batman: But your ego did kill him.
~ Batman and Damian talking about their relationship.
Damian: In other words, you too damned much like me. My name is Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne. I am the heir to the mantle of the Batman. On the path to attaining my legacy, I shed my blood. I killed my best friend. And though we share much, Adam. You should know we’re different. You made your parents proud.
~ Damian, as Batman to He-Man, remembering the former’s regret for unintentionally murders Dick, and how grateful about the later’s life.

  • In Injustice 2 when changing his gears into those of Nightwing, Damian's lifebar name is still Robin except in Story Mode.
  • According to Kuai Liang, the current Sub-Zero and Grandmaster of Lin Kuei from Mortal Kombat, Damian repeats similar mistakes from Scorpion by succumbing by their passions.
