Damien Darhk was a mysterious, elusive, and dangerous figure in the DC Universe. He first appeared in Titans #1 (March, 1999) and was created by Devin Grayson and Mark Buckingham.
Damien is an enemy of the Titans responsible for reforming H.I.V.E. into a more cohesive terrorist organization, as opposed to being a generic robe-wearing cabal. He was instead a business savvy manipulator, glued to his cell phone. However, Darhk gained immortality after receiving blood from Deathstroke's ex-wife, Adeline Kane. However, he was eventually killed by Vandal Savage.
Biography[]
The mysterious, boyish-looking Damien Darhk has evaded all attempts to pin down his sketchy background, despite extensive investigations by the CIA, the FBI, and even the Teen Titans. The latter encountered him while battling H.I.V.E. and Grant Wilson—the son of Deathstroke also known as the Ravager. Darhk's role in H.I.V.E.'s machinations remains unclear, and it is also not understood how he came to occupy such a powerful, well-connected position within H.I.V.E. at a relatively young age. During the final confrontation between the Teen Titans and H.I.V.E., Darhk suffered a near-fatal gunshot wound courtesy of Vandal Savage. He survived only after receiving a blood transfusion from then- H.I.V.E. Mistress Adeline Kane, perhaps granting him immortality. Darhk's current whereabouts are unknown.
Damien Darhk is a supporting antagonist in the Arrowverse franchise, first appearing in the TV series Arrow as the main antagonist of the fourth season.
