Lieutenant Colonel Damien Nichols is a minor antagonist in the 2016 video game Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. He is an SDF flying ace and one of the UNSA's Most Wanted Targets who is responsible for war crimes during the invasion of Titan.

Biography[]

Invasion of Titan[]

As a flying ace stationed on the SDF Titan Bravo, Nichols was involved in the SDF invasion of Titan, and was responsible for carrying out strafing runs against the UNSA, killing many civilians due to the majority of the attacks being on non-military targets. Ultimately, Titan was taken over, and several SDF fuelling stations were established.

Operation Sudden Death[]

After an attack on Titan during which an SDF fuelling tower was destroyed but many UNSA soldiers were killed in the process, the Titan Bravo was refuelling at a nearby fuelling station when suddenly the UNSA launched another attack, Operation Sudden Death, to destroy the station. As the SDF fleet was destroyed, Nichols was launched to combat the UNSA strike team. He engaged Captain Nick Reyes, the leader of the strike team, in a dogfight, but was ultimately shot down by Reyes, killing him.

As Operation Sudden Death is an optional mission, it is possible for Nichols to survive by not playing.
