Dan is a supporting antagonist in the BBC thriller-comedy Am I Being Unreasonable?.
He is the adulterous husband of series protagonist Nic, and the brother of Alex, the pair of whom had an illicit affair behind their respective spouses.
He is portrayed by Dustin Demri-Burns.
Personality[]
Dan is an immature and petulant man. He shows disregard toward his marriage. However, Due to Nic's incompetence as a parent, Dan puts in more effort with their son, Ollie. Despite this, there are times where Dan is avoidant over his parenting and marriage responsibilities. His brother described Dan to be a bully when growing up.

Dan is the older brother of Alex. During their childhood, Dan would constantly tease Alex and humiliate him in front of his peers and girlfriends. When Dan reached adulthood, he married Nic and had a son, Ollie. Prior to their marriage, Alex and Nic had numerous sexual encounters (including on their wedding days).
At some point, Dan sought to have an affair and went on to dating apps. There, he matched with a young girl.
Am I Being Unreasonable?[]
When Jen arrives in the village and befriends Nic, she learns that Dan is on Tinder seeking an affair. As an adultery vigilante, Jen meets with Nic to tell him. However, Nic instead confesses her affair with Alex to Jen. At Alex's memorial, Dan and Suzie confront Nic. Suzie has learned already of Nic's affair with Alex. This leaves Nic paranoid. A recording of Nic's confession is played over the memorial.
Dan ousts Nic from the house, but the pair eventually make up. When Nic learns that Ollie killed Mr. Meowgi, she and Dan confront Ollie, who manipulates Dan into believing it is simply because he is human makes mistakes. Dan and Nic's relationship seems to improve throughout the season. However, Dan eventually follows through with his affair with the younger girl from Tinder.
