Detective Daniel Kreps is a major antagonist in the Hulu series Only Murders In The Building, serving as an overarching antagonist of season one and the secondary antagonist of season two. He is an NYPD detective who became involved with Poppy White and he assisted her in the murder of Bunny Folger.
He is portrayed by Michael Rapaport, who also portrayed Frank Stump in My Name Is Earl.

Only Murders In The Building[]
Kreps first met Charles, Oliver and Mabel when he interrogated them for Bunny's murder after they were arrested for her murder. Kreps became hostile towards the trio which resulted in Mabel becoming defensive towards Kreps. Due to lack of evidence, Kreps released Charles, Oliver and Mabel but continued to pursue them throughout Bunny's case. A few weeks into the case, Kreps met with Charles, Oliver, Mabel, Cinda Canning and Poppy to tell them to stop podcasting Bunny's murder case.
However, despite of Kreps' warning, they continued to podcast Bunny's murder in two separate podcasts. After Mabel gets recorded stabbing a masked man on the subway who tried to attack her, Mabel discovered that a man named Glitter Guy might be behind Bunny's murder and sought Theo Dimas' help with the case. Mabel then witnessed Glitter Guy try and chase her and became determined to finding out who Glitter Guy was.
After a blackout was caused, Lucy started getting chased around by Glitter Guy in the secret passageway which she hid from Bunny's murderer in. After the power was brought back, Kreps approached Charles, Oliver and Mabel and told them about the new evidence they had on the murder case. When Charles and Oliver left, Kreps interrogated Mabel and told her that he saw the video of her stabbing the masked man on the subway and that he was interested in her.
When Kreps turned around and became abrasive towards Marv, Mabel noticed the glitter on Kreps' ears and neck. Kreps then told Mabel to have a nice day before leaving. Mabel then figured out that Kreps was Glitter Guy. Due to the evidence she received about Kreps, Mabel met with Kreps at the Boxing Gym where she continued to interrogate him. However, Kreps kept denying the allegations that Mabel was making against him. Mabel discovered that Bunny's murder and Kreps were linked to Becky Butler's disappearance. It was also revealed that Kreps corrupted Becky's case under Cinda's orders and became involved with Cinda after meeting her at the bar. Poppy then revealed that she was Becky Butler.
After the trio got Cinda to a Killer Reveal party to try and get her to confess to Bunny's murder, Poppy became outraged and confessed to committing Bunny's murder. Poppy then revealed that Kreps was not involved with Cinda but was involved with her. Poppy then ordered for Kreps to help her manipulate Cinda into believing that Becky Butler actually disappeared. Poppy also ordered Kreps to help her with Bunny's murder and to frame Charles, Oliver and Mabel. Poppy was then arrested by Detective Williams and Kreps was seen in police custody.
