Daniel Pinkerton is the main antagonist of Playstation motion comic Uncharted: Eye of Indra. He is an American crime lord who hired Nathan Drake to find the fabled Eye of Indra.
He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also played Fenris Wolf in Thor: Ragnarok, Tony Alpert in Battlefield: Hardline, Poseidon in God of War, and Rhino in Marvel's Spider Man.
Biography[]
Prior to the story, Pinkerton was living inside a mansion at Indonesia, with multiple henchmen and security. Pinkerton had hunting the three treasures of Indra, over time he acquired the Path of Indra and the Wrath of Indra, only the most elusive Eye of Indra was nowhere to be found.
Despite hiring two finders, they both went missing afterwards. Having no choice, Pinkerton hired Drake to find the Eye, in return, he will help funding an expedition to retrieve Francis Drake's coffin. At Pinkerton's office. Pinkerton handed all of his previous finder's work on the treasures to Drake, and threatened him not to cross him. Drake agreed on Pinkerton's terms and proceeded to search for the Eye.
While researching for the Eye, Nate and his associate Rika Raja discovered that the Eye was hidden inside the Path of Indra. Instead telling Pinkerton of his findings, Drake decided to rob him, enlisting the help of Rika and his brother, Eddy Raja.
During nighttime, Pinkerton and his men were distracted by an explosion in the garage. Pinkerton eventually caught up to Drake and Eddy, and captured both of them to his office.
Aware of Drake's betrayal, Pinkerton tied Drake with his friend on the chair and proceeded to torture the two in hopes of finding out the Eye, including electrifying Drake and Raja. When both men refused to talk, Pinkerton brought a captured Rika to his office.
With Rika in danger, Drake finally conceded and revealed that the Eye was located inside the Path statue, much to Pinkerton's disbelief. While Pinkerton was distracted by the Eye, Rika fought off the guard who held her and was kicked towards Pinkerton's desk. In order to punish Drake, Pinkerton decided to kill Rika with his dagger. To Pinkerton's surprise, Rika pulled out her gun, wounded him and killed his men.
As it turns out, Pinkerton realized that Drake planned his and Eddy's capture, was just to lead Pinkerton into opening the safe containing the Indra treasures. Before Pinkerton can reason with him, he was suddenly killed by Rika, much to Drake and Eddy's surprise.
