Biography[]
Prior life[]
Back when he was just a child, Danny was adopted by Will’s family and spend numerous times bonding with the latter throughout his childhood. Danny soon finds out that his father was a life-long criminal who was deemed infamous by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and decided to follow in his footsteps when he turns 17 by robbing dozens of banks while his brother was off serving the military at the same age. Danny’s activities soon makes his criminal record longer and later had the agency suspicious.
Ambulance[]
After his brother Will arrives back in LA from serving in the military and failed to get answered by medical insurance agents since he needed money for his wife Amy’s experimental cancer surgery and needed to look after his son, he visits Danny and notices that he had stole multiple cars with his gang. Since Danny had already knew that Will admitted he is desperate for cash needed for his wife’s surgery, he decided to invite his brother on a “job” that involves $32 million dollars worth of money at the LA Federal & Trust Bank.
After Will agreed to join him and his crew to go to the bank, Danny has the bank tellers already held at gunpoint. However, one of the officers Zach decides to walk into the bank to open for account but Danny somehow manages to disguise his name as the bank’s manager Henry Gattis and soon lets the officer inside the bank. Soon as Zach walks up to the window to ask one of the bank tellers on a date, Danny pulls his pistol on the LAPD officer and has his crew make him act calmly to his colleague before taking them hostage. Just as his crew blows their cover and gets killed in a shootout with the LAPD’s Special Investigation Section, Danny and his brother rush to the parking lot with holding Zach hostage. At one point, Zach attempts to fight Danny off and escape but Will accidentally shoots the officer. Will tries to help Zach but Danny protests that they should escape and leave Zach, believing that the officer is dead and decide to run off to the back.
Just as he and Will try to escape using the back of the back of the bank, Danny soon realized that police has the whole building locked down, causing them to run back to the parking lot. He and Will soon find out that there is an ambulance which has paramedic Camille “Cam” Thompson and her friend on board driving in to the parking lot bringing in the injured Zach and head to the vehicle. Right as they made their way to the ambulance, Danny forces Scott out of the vehicle and has Will wear his uniform to successfully steal it. While Will steals the ambulance, Danny holds Cam hostage and has her cooperate by saving Zach's life or she will be killed. As they drive out of the parking lot, the Los Angeles Police Department and their undercover officers soon surround the vehicle soon but Danny forces Will and Cam to make an excuse to drive Zach to the hospital and manages to exit the parking lot unharmed. The two brothers hide in an alleyway due to LAPD helicopters trying to spot them. As this happens, Cam tries to flee after using a fire extinguisher on Will, but Danny forces her back inside. Even worse, Zach starts flatlining and Will also has Cam go back in the ambulance to save his life. Cam then flips Danny off saying "fuck you!"
These actions alert the Los Angeles Police Department and the Special Investigation Section led by Captain Monroe to be involved, as they try to stop Danny and Will by any means necessary, sending helicopters and police cars to go after them. As the police chase them, Cam has Danny help her use a defibrillator and have Will transfer some of his blood to Zach, much to his confusion and frustration. Danny then calls Castro, another criminal and crime boss Papi, to help him and Will escape from the police in exchange for $8 million. During the chase, Monroe tries to convince Danny to turn himself in but he refuses. The chase leads to the LA Convention Center where Danny tries to shoot one of the pursuing officers. When Cam stops him, Danny angrily scolds her for ruining his attempt saying that anyone can get hurt. Going inside the Convention center’s parking lot, Danny attempts to throw Cam off the ambulance as the police surround them in every direction. However, the police are forced to retreat when Nitro, Captain Monroe’s dog is inside Officer Mark’s vehicle. Will convinces Danny that they are not hurting her, but Danny says that he needs to believe and think they are and that Will was responsible for accidentally shooting the cop and that they are still alive because of him. Monroe then enlists FBI agent Anson, who is familiar with Danny’s criminal background since they both were in college.
Zach then starts to bleed out and Cam gets help from her ex boyfriend Colin, who is a doctor, and two trauma guys, to help her along with Will while Danny drives. Zach unexpectedly wakes up but is knocked out by Will resulted him being scolded by Danny. Cam is able to successfully perform the surgery using her clamp despite a ruptured spleen and losing contact with Colin and his other colleagues due to the laptop she used to FaceTime them ran out of battery. Danny later calls, Roberto, Papi’s son, to set an ambush for the police. Danny then tells Will their escape strategy; going under the Olympic River and ditching cops there. Meanwhile, Captain Monroe, believing that Zach is dead, decides to move forward with the operation and prepares a SWAT team to wait for both Danny and Will to pass and kill them simultaneously despite knowing that Cam is still alive. However, Cam contacts Anson that Zach is still alive and warns both Danny and Will about the snipers as she wants to keep the cop alive. They are able to outrun it despite taking a few hits as well as causing other cop cars to crash with their maneuvers. Monroe, aware of Danny’s escape tactics but unaware that he is SIS, tells Anson to text Cam where they’re going so he can lure Danny and Will into a trap. Danny later contacts Monroe and taunts him about his tactics and has Cam tell him about trying to keep everyone alive despite being hostage. However, having had enough of Cam, Danny attempts to kill her, causing the two brothers to fight, also monitored by the police. Anson also begins to be familiar with Will, having heard Cam say his name and later receives a text from her that they are headed to Boyle Heights. After the scuffle, Cam begins finding out Will’s marriage to Amy as he began video chatting her, thinking that he had the job he got interviewed for. Will and Danny later partially reconcile and listen to music together to ease the tension.
In the Los Angeles River, helicopters chase the ambulance as Danny shoots at them. Will and Danny then drive on the opposite lane of the interstate, creating multiple accidents. They meet up with Castro and Roberto to create ambulance decoys while Papi's men distract the police and FBI through mini guns which results with Monroe fatally wounded and Roberto being shot by Mark after a scuffle. The brothers head to Papi's hideout. Papi, who is distraught of Roberto's death, demands the brothers leave Zach and Cam with them to deal with; Will refuses to cooperate and teams up with Danny to kill Papi and his crew. This alerts the police once more after hearing gunfire. In the chaos, Cam accidentally shoots Will using Zach's gun. Danny takes the ambulance to a hospital and orders Cam to save Will’s life just as she saved the cop as the police go after them more. Danny is able to kill a few criminals as they escape. When Cam reveals that she was the one who shot Will, he gets enraged of this. Danny vows to kill Cam along with himself on live television before confronting the police. Left with no other choice, Will shoots Danny in the back as the police begin to pin him to the ground and arrest him next to the injured Danny as they are both handcuffed. Danny apologizes to Will before he dies from his injuries, much to the sadness of Will as he is not only upset because he killed his adopted brother, but also the fact that he was also his best friend turned criminal, and had to reluctantly save Cam’s life.
