Darius Silva Ganius is a major antagonist of the manga, light novel and anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnatinon. He is the prime minister of Asura Kingdom that was later on revealed to be the one that sent assassins to murder many nobles within the kingdom. Furthermore he was also revealed to be an apostle of the Man God, Hitogami.
He is voiced by Taketora in Japanese and Randy Pearlman in English.
Appearance[]
Darius is a bald man that appears presumably in his mid 30s and has a fat build. He wears a noble attire as the prime minister of his kingdom. In the manga, he has a somewhat older appearance, due the winkles near his eyes.
Personality[]
Darius is a spoiled man that does everything for his own advantage that enjoyed pleasuring on womens especially of young ages as being the primary person that caused of Eris Greyrat's' kidnapping. Once captured, he would sexual harass and abuse them in his own sexual wills. He would eventually sell them when no longer having interest for his female victims.
He will also plan for the murder of numerous Asuran nobles within the kingdom by sending assassins at night to do so such as being the one responsable for the attempt assassination of Princess Ariel Anemoi Asura.
He also has deep admiration for Asura Kingdom's first prince, Grabell Zafin Asura, in which he would use all of his advantage to also assist him for Grabell to reach a higher status as royal member, not caring whether he deserves it or not.
Biography[]
During the Home Tutor Arc, it was theorized by others that he was the one behind the kidnapping of Eris Greyrat at night while her cousin Rudeus Greyrat was planning for an act of a fake kidnapping that was turned out to be a real one.
Later on in the story, it was revealed that he was the mastermind behind the false execution of Eris' grandfather Sauros Boreas Greyrat after the Teleportation Incident where he was guilty for being someone that is connected to the major incident. He did it for the reason after concluding that Sauros had the intention to spend all of his family's fortune for Fittoa to be rebuilt. He then convinced him that Sauros' actions were not only reckless but also detrimental to their shared interests.
They would then devised a plan to shift the blame onto Sauros for a recent teleport incident that had caused significant damage and chaos in Fittoa. Presumably to gain trust from the Boreas Family, he would assist in aiding for the Boreas Family in which he helped them on rebuilding a home unlike the other nobles who would have keep them for themselves. He then engaged in many assasinations in many nobles of the kingdom to have any of them murdered if they ever assisted Princess Ariel. As a result, some of them were able to realize the cause of death of the nobles, leaving them to join Prince Grabel instead for their own sake.
Further on in the story, it is then revealed that he also works for Hitogami or better known as the Man God. His crimes would eventually be revealed by Princess Ariel along with Tristina Purplehorse. This would result for his highly important status as the Prime Minister to be removed to face all the crimes he has commited in the so far. Reida Reia would later on come to his rescue along with Auber Corvette who acts as his bodyguard while aiding his attempt to jailbreak but gets killed by Ghislaine during his fight with her and Rudeus. Eventually, Ghislaine would kill Darius as well to fufill his revenge on Sauros, now knowing that he was the one that caused him to be accused and be executed.
