Dark Lucifer (ダークルシフェル Dāku Rushiferu) is the overarching antagonist of Ultraman Nexus, he's a dark Ultraman who was created by Dark Zagi. However, it is so far only featured in novels relating to Ultraman Nexus and original script of Ultraman Saga Movie.

Biography

3 years after Dark Zagi's death, there is a Memory Police who illegally uses a memo racer to be left behind, erasing the memories of those who have seen the battle of Ultraman and Space Beast, but the goal is to save the accumulated fear and turn himself into Dark Lucifer. Then, the man appeared in front of the only gate and Nagi, and when he said that he was going to surpass his master, Dark Zagi. He absorbed the surge of darkness overflowing from the Memoriser and turned into Dark Lucifer.

However, that single gate was not alone. With that, Komon and Nagi bonded with Ultraman Noa once again.He was finally defeated by Ultraman Noa after a fierce battle. After all, the identity of the man in black remains a mystery.

Powers and Abilities

• Possession: From Lucifer, it can possess humans as human hosts just like its predecessor. He possesed the memory policemen.
• Power of Other Dark Giants: Dark Lucifer possesses the power of his master as well as his predecessor.
• Memory Erasure: Dark Lucifer can erase people's memories regarding Space Beast to absorb the fear of humans to turn him into Dark Lucifer.

Trivia

• Dark Lucifer was actually meant to be a major antagonist in Ultraman Nexus but due to the low number of series viewers, Zagi became the final boss instead. He was originally meant to be Zagi's revived form, but is instead Dark Zagi's final creation.
• Dark Lucifer's aspect was used to create Ultraman Hikari and his Arb Gear alter-ego, Hunter Knight Tsurugi.
• Dark Lucifer was originally planned to be the main antagonist in Ultraman Saga but in a case similar to Nexus, he was canceled.
• In the original script of Ultraman Saga, it will feature not only the same cast of monsters (except Alien Bat) and Ultra, but also Ultraman Justice, Team EYES, Ultraman King, Ultraman Mebius, and The Ultimate Force Zero going into battle against Dark Zagi. The climax will involve Ultraman Legend, Mebius Infinity, and Ultraman Saga (being Zero and Dyna joining together instead) fighting against Dark Lucifer.
