The Dark Maker is the overarching antagonist of the Lego Hero Factory franchise.

He is a mysterious evil mastermind that created the Brains to possess wildlife in order to destroy Hero Factory to achieve his ends.

He's voiced by Tom Kenny.

History

During the events of Breakout, he paid Black Phantom for the blueprints of the Hero Factory.

The Dark Maker then later created the evil parasitic Brains for the sole purpose of destroying the Hero Factory, sending thousands of them to the planet. Upon their arrival, the Brains mutated Makuhero City planet's seven known animal species into his personal army.

Personality

The Dark Maker is intelligent, power-hungry and an expert in genetic manipulation. Unlike most villains, he'll come up with many plans and organize better tactics for his goals.

Trivia

• He is voiced by Tom Kenny, who voiced Mumbo Jumbo from Teen Titans, Jet-Bug of the Fire Villains and Ice King from Finn & Jake: Adventure Time.
• He was rumored by fans to be Von Nebula. However, - since he was never seen in Invasion From Below and due to the series being canceled, it is now unknown.
  • However due to the cancellation of Hero Factory for unknown reasons was the catalyst for a reboot of BIONICLE that aired from 2015 to 2016 that is less appreciated than the original series of the same name broadcast since the 2000s. If some Lego fans should protest against the cancellation of Hero Factory, it is for this reason that there would be a potential reboot on Hero Factory to see the Dark Maker's defeat.
