Dark Nova is the overarching antagonist of the Transformers Japanese Generation One Continuity. Is the new Decepticon Leader after Violengiguar's downfall who sought to destroy the Autobots and prevent the revivial of Optimus Prime.
An second Dark Nova would appear in Legends and would later be revealed they are forms of the Vok from Beast Wars.
Appearance[]
Dark Nova’s normal appearance are the two Vok from Beast Wars.
Their Dark Nova forms are spare sphere squid like appearance similar to their original forms.
Personality[]
He has a mysterious personality and all is known he want to take over the universe and destroy the Autobots.
In Legends his personality is expanded as it is revealed as he his Vok from Beast Wars and only wish to eliminate the Autobots and Decepticons so their decendents the Maxinals and Predacons are erased so they don't mess with their expierments.
However Megatron held off Dark Nova long enough for Dai Atlas to destroy Star Giant and finally put an end to Dark Nova and the Vok once and for all.

An second Dark Nova appears and is revealed both are they are the Vok from Beast Wars who survived their apparent deaths with the pink one being the first Dark Nova in Battlestars and Green one becoming the second current Dark Nova. They attempted to destroy both the Autobots and Decepticons so their decedents would be erased. After forcefully merging with Megatron again and attempt to destroy the Transformers as an last ditch effort.

- Dark Nova's origins and connection to Unicron was left vague until the Legends Manga reveal his true identity of the Vok from Beast Wars and was disguising himself as Unicron to strike fear into many Transformers.
