Dark Presence are major antagonists of the "Mobius 25 Years Later" story in Sonic the Hedgehog comics by Archie Comics. They are the reformed Dark Legion that served as King Shadow's secret police until his deposing by Sonic and his allies. The Dark Presence retreated and schemed to free their master and reinstall him on the throne.

25 Years Later (unaltered)[]
By the time Dr. Eggman had been defeated for good and Sonic became the king of Acorn, Dark Legion was reduced to a shell of its former self. Lien-Da had ascended to the position of the legion's Grandmaster.
25 Years Later (altered)[]
In the altered timeline, Lien-Da used her retained knowledge of the old timeline to earn King Shadow's trust. He made her and her legion a staple of his planet-wide regime. The Dark Presence engaged in political terror, imprisoning and torturing and/or killing anyone deemed a threat to Shadow, including Rotor's partner Cobar. The Presence went into hiding when Shadow was overthrown.
30 Years Later[]
For the next five years, Lien-Da plotted to overthrow King Sonic. During the celebration of the "Five Years of Peace", Dark Presence attempted to assassinate the king, but he was saved by Silver the Hedgehog. The group then infiltrated Castle Mobius, capturing everyone they could find and making their way into the catacombs beneath the castle, from where they freed Shadow. The deposed king, however, became disillusioned with the people who had rejected him, and attempted to release Tikhaos upon the world. When Lien-Da objected, he removed the armband that protected her from the shift in space-time continium, making her disappear. These acts caused the Dark Presence to renounce Shadow and assist the heroes in the battle against Tikhaos.
