The Dark Suns are a set of sentient weapons created and used by the Legion of the Final Boss to destroy whatever Netherworld they want.
The first time any of them are seen is when Vulcanus summoned a Dark Sun to destroy Nether Institute Evil Academy and kill Mao and the main character, however, it is intercepted by the main character's team and fights them, losing and being destroyed in the process.
When the main character showed up at Baal's castle, Vulcanus would summon an entire herd of Dark Suns to destroy the main character, almost killing Etna, however, all of them are destroyed by Laharl, Adell, Mao, Valvatorez and Killia.
Trivia[]
The Dark Sun makes an appearance in Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness as the summon used for the Omega Star spell where it eats the Earth.
