Dark Triangle Coffee is a fast-growing company with ambitions to sweep the nation, and eventually the globe with our out-of-this-world beverages. Drawn by our coffee's distinctive flavor and our unique beans, people are rushing to join the.. Dark..Triangle..movement. The company's mission statement is simple: To drink the truth is to become one.

The Dark Triangle Coffee are the main antagonists in the second episode "North Star" of the 2024 video game anthology DLC Alan Wake II: Night Springs.

They are a coffee company that, behind their commercial image, brainwashed the people of Night Springs through their products as part of a conspiracy experiment to take control of the world, as well as those responsible for kidnapping the Brother of the protagonist, The Sister (Jesse Faden).

Biography[]

Upon the Sister arrival at the Coffee World attraction in the town of Night Springs in search of her brother kidnapped by a government agency, she meets the Sheriff (Tim Breaker) and he explains to her about the strange events that are occurring in the town that are related to the government's conspiracy plan in controlling people through coffee, which causes the Sister to be told that they are the same organization that took her Brother away, thus deciding to go rescue him.

Trivia[]

  • Being part of a fictional story of one of Alan Wake's failed manuscripts to escape the Dark Place, his power ended up creating events in the real world:
    • The Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), being invaded by the entity The Hiss and Jesse Faden's search for his brother Dylan while facing him in that agency, which would clearly explain that Alan Wake is the catalyst for the events that occurred in Control, and the fact that it's part of the Remedy shared universe.
    • The Cult of the Tree, led by brothers Ilmo and Jaako Koskela, run a coffee and tourism business called "Coffee World" in Bright Falls.
