The Dark Wings are a minor antagonist in Tales of Arise is a resistance group founded by Dedyme, who became they leader.
Biography[]
the group was founded by Dedyme after a legend of the same name, who wanted to be a hero like the one who overthrow a king. However, as he fought against the Renans, the Dark Wings suffer losses, including his friends and family, resulted in him becoming a cold hearted man. Eventually at some point, the Dark Wings claimed the explosives from the Renans, which Dedyme used to blast the Renans out of Niez, and succeeded in claiming the city from the Renan Lord, who fled from the destruction they caused.
However, the Dark Wings's methods were brutal, due to the many Dahnans being injured or possible killed from the explosive, which Dedyme justified that these sacrifices as worth it to rid Niez of the Renans, which is in ruins as a result.
Trivia[]
- This version of the Dark Wings is the most edgy incarnation in the Tales series due to the lack of sympathetic comic reliefs they usually have.
- Ironically due to the fact that they never made their revolution good, they maintain their incompetent attitude the group usually have in the past series.
