“ | Darkmatter: How dare you try to stop me!? You've nearly foiled my plans and captured 3 of my henchmen! Heroes: We just want to protect the citizens of Robloxia. |
„ |
~ The conversation between Darkmatter and the heroes right before their battle. |
Amethysto, also known by his evil counterpart Darkmatter, is the main antagonist of the Roblox game Heroes of Robloxia. He is actually a corruption that emerged by taking over the mind of a superhero named Amethysto and wants to take over the world by dragging it into darkness.
Appearance[]
Darkmatter's entire body is purple and black. There are purple lines between the intersection of his arms and hands and the intersection of his legs and feet. There's smoke coming out of his head and there's some kind of ring surrounding his neck. He also has a purple half square on his chest.
Personality[]
As opposed to Amethysto, Darkmatter is quite arrogant and ruthless. He's ready to do anything to achieve his goal and doesn't care about the outcome of his actions while doing so. The only thing that matters to him is who will make his job easier and who will make it harder. Other than that, he doesn't care about anyone. The fact that he didn't even try to help his henchmens after they were arrested by the heroes is a clear proof of that.
He also has a hegemonic side, evident from his conversations, and wants everything to happen his way, including the entire world being dragged into darkness. There isn't much difference emotionally either, he always sees himself as superior to others and doesn't seem to have "weakening" feelings such as fear.
Biography[]
Background[]
Before he became Darkmatter, Amethysto was one of the newest recruits of the Heroes of Robloxia. However, Amethysto became corrupted by some unknown darkness and became Darkmatter and through this, he aims to conquer the world with his new henchmen, Cicada, Dynamo, and Atomic Waste.
He has the four villains collect various items that he'll plan to use for a device that would enlarge himself to gigantic proportions, and further his plans of world conquest.
Mission 1: Bank Heist Bust[]
after the defeat of Cicada, Darkmatter collects the gold that Cicada stole from the bank and plots to use it for his device, stating that his rise to power has only just begun.
Mission 2: Toxic Takedown[]
After the defeat of Atomic Waste, Darkmatter collects the uranium crystals that Atomic Waste had stolen from the chemical factory. The crystals are used like a fuel source for his device, as he said that they're fueling his plans for world domination, and now has one more piece missing for his domination plans.
Mission 3: Museum Mayhem[]
Collecting the alien technology from the museum, stolen by Dynamo, He now has the final piece of his device. Since Cicada, Dynamo and Atomic Waste had failed him in defeating the heroes, He will choose to take matters into his own hands, and take down the heroes himself.
Mission 4: Purple Peril[]
With his device completed, he is soon confronted by the four heroes who try to reason with him, but with his anger aimed towards them about capturing his lackeys, he activates his machine and grows up to about the height of a skyscraper. He then lifts a platform for the heroes to fight him on.
Throughout his battle, he lifts up blue tanks that Tessla can zap with her electricity, or cars that Kinetic could toss back. He tries to swing his right or left arms on certain occasions, which his right arm could be pushed back by Captain Roblox and his left could be attacked by Overdrive.
Once defeated, the darkness possessing Amethysto dissipates and returns the purple hero back to normal.
Post Mission 4[]
After Amethysto was accepted back into the team, Amethysto was seen holding a purple flame, which hints to Darkmatter's possible return as there still might be a part of him left in Amethysto.
Darkmatter's empowerment machine could also be seen in the updated lobby where all the villains were held in separate cells.
