Darkness Messenger Geildon is the first of the Evoliens to attack Earth and a supporting antagonist in Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.
He was portrayed by Masashi Kagami and Yoshinori Okamoto in suit.
History[]
Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger[]
Geildon was originally Mahoro's older brother Mizuho. Along with his sister and her fiancee Asuka, Mizuho was a member of the resistance against the Evolians. After being tricked into believing that Asuka had betrayed them, like Mahoro, he felt Asuka must be punished. Mizuho discarded his old name and became Darkness Messenger Geildon, donning the Cursed Armor that had been taken from Asuka.
Neo-Geildon
Geildon later spearheaded the Evolians' advance attack on Another-Earth. He corrupted the Bakuryuu into rampaging across the planet, but they were brought under control by Asuka and the people he had chosen to be Abarangers. Geildon then piloted the Fortress Lifeform Anomalogaris to attack the planet himself, but was defeated when the Abarangers piloting AbareOh penetrated the Fortress Lifeform's weak spot. Mortally wounded, Mizuho returned to the Invasion Garden and had Destruction Messenger Jannu kill him so she can use the Curse Armor to fulfill their revenge on Asuka.
Neo-Geildon[]
An "embodiment clone" of Geildon called Neo-Geildon was created by Space War God Borudosu in the film Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters: Dinosaur Great Battle! Farewell, Eternal Friends. Not the original Darkness Messenger Geildon, he is an evil embodiment of the regret of the Evolian in their failure to defeat the Abarangers in the past.
